If she wasn't raised to speak spanish and the culture wasn't exposed to her, then what's wrong with not wanting to be identified as a latina actress? She is Mexican but raised American. Its like me saying I'm catholic (which I don't) because I was baptised when I was born, but I've not stepped in church besides weddings and funerals. She did obviously back track in her words, but maybe now that she's expecting a baby she wants to discover her roots. Kids change the way you think about alot of things.
