The ex-X-rated actress will don a black wig and pleather bikini to evoke screen siren Page in a new People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) anti-leather campaign, which will debut at Fashion Week next week.
Adult film icon Jameson admits she was happy to wear fake leather for the shoot — because she often has sexy outfits made from pleather.
I’m not sure how Jameson can get away with being in PETA, when there’s quite a bit of documented visual evidence that she eats meat. Although in her defense, she usually does get rid of most of her fur…

I wonder how Bettie Page would feel about this. I don’t know for sure, but from what I’ve seen, she doesn’t seem to have had a problem with leather or fur. Not to mention when Bettie Page was a pin up, did America have “animal rights”, was vegetarian or vegan practiced very much?
These are just questions based on my own knowledge of american history. Anyone with answers I would love to hear from.
