Amy Winehouse clearly needs some “life counseling.” The alcoholic, perpetually drugged-out singer’s life has been a series of stupid human tricks in recent months, including a go at lighting a vodka shot and snorting it through a straw.
Guess who’s stepping up to the plate to guide the troubled chanteuse through the minefield of narcotics?

“Mind you, that girl isn’t going to be around long unless she sorts herself out pretty quick. Amy’s got to get smart.”
Richards, 64, said he did not expect her to listen.

The former heroin addict admitted he still “smokes weed all the damn time” and said he was once so high on drugs he let a firework burn his finger to the bone.
Is there a single more hypocritical drug-abuse adviser on the planet? (Other than Pete Doherty, of course.) This is a guy who admitted last year that he once snorted the ashes of his late father “after grinding him up with a little bit of blow.”
On the other hand, maybe the reason “Keef” survived this long was his daily regimen of wild cherry valium and heroin speedballs, washed down with everclear. Could be.
Next he’ll be giving her tips on how to stay wrinkle-free.

I think what he has to say actually has some value. As he’s been there, done that, he can actually speak from experience. I would hate it if some wowser who has never touched drugs in their life tried to give her advice like this.

I wouldn’t call him hypocritical. He’s saying “I’ve done it myself-this is what I’ve learned”. Just the opposite of hypocrisy.
The guy’s a genius and a walking miracle. Ok, so he’s a bit puddled these days but he’s come through a lot more than that useless bag of bones Winehouse, so he’s every reason to pontificate. As for you Pastafarian, record sell out tours after nearly 50 years in the business, you reckon that sucks? Ever heard of the greatest rock and roll band in the world you tosser?
