As if we didn’t know this was coming…
Turns out Heather Mills didn’t give all of her earnings from Dancing With The Stars to charity after all.
When she signed onto the show, she made a big fuss about how she would donate her entire $220,000 appearance fee to British animal-rights charity Vegetarians International Voice for Animals.
On Viva’s website, she wrote:
“The last few months have not been good for me as my life has been on hold. But I love dancing and want to support Viva in this important campaign to expose the appalling cruelty to which millions of pigs are subjected on British farms. Taking part in this show satisfies both desires. The show itself might also provide a bit of fun and a few laughs — things I’ve been missing for far too long.”
Truly, this is vintage Heather Mills. It calls attention to her troubles and organizes a big pity party not so much for the pigs as for her need for “fun and a few laughs.”
In any event, it didn’t really materialize. According to court documents that came out after the divorce settlement, she gave about $100,000 to the charity — less than half of what she promised.
Oink!

Hey $220,000 is a lot of money to hop around on one leg. That’s almost enough to buy clothes for a year.
@Pastafarian: Yeah, especially when all you need is half a pair of pants.
