Hillary Clinton, George Washington University, 3/17:
I certainly do remember that trip to Bosnia, and as Togo said, there was a saying around the White House that if a place was too small, too poor, or too dangerous, the president couldn’t go, so send the First Lady. That’s where we went.
I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.
Sounds dangerous! Well, she should definitely be the president, then.
What’s that? Oh…
Oops. She was aware she was being filmed, right? Of course, this is the woman who claimed she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who didn’t become famous until years after she was born. And she pretends to love her husband. So, what’s one more little white lie between friends.
And how about that Sinbad, huh? This is the best thing to happen to his career since… um… somebody help me out here.
P.S. Now she’s saying she “misspoke.” She was thinking of one of the other times she had to dodge sniper fire, probably.
