In case you’re wondering why Ashlee Simpson is making the magazine and talk-show rounds, it’s because she has a new album coming out called Bittersweet World.
(Sidenote to Ashlee: Bitch, please. You don’t have nearly enough edge for a drama-queen album title like that. I don’t care that you now have red hair, you just don’t.)
Her dad/manager Joe Simpson wants her to go on Saturday Night Live to promote it, but guess what? They remember what happened last time.
Camp Simpson’s rationale for the rejection?
A rep for Ashlee said, “We’re not doing ‘SNL’ because they’re dark the week we are here in April and there were no other opportunities later in the year.”
Or maybe SNL’s producers just aren’t buying that she’s really professional. You know it.
I wouldn’t have recognized her from that picture. She does look better. Did she get make up tips from Pete?
Did everyone forget that Ashlee Simpson did another appearance on SNL after her first fiasco? It was a song from her second album and she sang the beginning of her song acapella, so that everyone knew it was actually her singing this time? It wasnt a ad performance at all. I thought she redeemed herself with SNL…Or did I completely miss something?
Anyway, I just feel like shes not the greatest singer, but ive seen her live and shes just a fun sing-with-your-girls-in-the-car kind of entertainer, her music isnt completely s*****…give her a break.
I really like ashlee simpson and think they should give her a chance… ROCK ON!

Ashlee Simpson is a crap singer. SNL is a crap show. Can they even exist in the same space at the same time…it might get messy.
