Hayden’s Memory Is as Short as Her Body

Everybody knows cute lil’ Hayden Panettiere wants to save the dolphins, but now she’s trying to save the tuna! According to Contactmusic.com, she says Paris Hilton is a misunderstood genius:

Panettiere, 19, who has been a close friend of Hilton’s for several years, says the 27-year-old socialite is actually more level-headed than the dumb “character” she projects to the media.

She explains, “She’s a nice girl and a lot brighter than people give her credit (for) but no one sees her like that because she plays this character all the time. She’s actually a marketing genius.”

Which is interesting, considering that not long ago the stubby stunner was knocking someone else for setting a bad example:

“For God knows what reason, [the paparazzi] compare me with Lindsay Lohan!” Panettiere, 18, tells Teen magazine for its winter issue. “It’s kind of become, ‘All right, you guys can stay there and try knocking me off my horse.’ I want to prove them wrong now…

“I think that, now more than ever, young girls need a good role model,” she says. “My mom always says, ‘You are the books you read and the people you surround yourself with.’”

This drunken, narcissistic tramp is bad, but that drunken, narcissistic tramp is a genius!

BTW, have you seen Paris Hilton’s reading list? You could print it out on a Trident wrapper. Well, that’s not counting the books she’s already colored in.

Pretty sure if Paris Hilton wasn’t a marketing genius, she wouldn’t be discussed on this blog and many others as she rakes in millions from endorsement deals. You can be a bad role model, a clubber, promiscuous, and a sex tape star and still be a marketing genius.

    Who said she isn’t?

Marketing genius?! She sure is. She followed rule number 1. Sex sells. Though in her case it didn’t, it was mostly posted all over the interweb for free. Say what you want about Paris but I will give her this much unless some one can prove otherwise, she hasn’t had a boob job. And she’s getting along fine with her small tits.

But to the point of the post, see, Hayden is saying I’m not Lindsay, she’s a slut but Paris is a reformed slut. Or something like that. Maybe not.

I think when Hayden first met Paris, she set the level really low, so of course it came as a surprise for her that Paris is not TOTALLY empty. Hence, “she’s a lot brighter than people give her credit for”. She’s not brighter than, say, Natalie Portman or even the Olsen twins, just brighter than the floss people thinks she is.

Here’s what I have a problem with, I’ve heard this before out of Paris’ friends and even herself. She’s smarter than people give her credit for because she plays this character. Well, she’s the one putting out this “character” so thats the credit she deserves and has asked for. Personally I think she is who she is seen as. It’s not really smart that you were born into a rich famiy and know the right people and made a sex tape and slapped your name on a bunch of crap and sold it.

What’s next, she’ll pose nude on PETA with teh dolphins?

Agreed with ZO. Paris is not really smart, but she’s backed up by people who is. I think Hayden is just trying to genuinely stand by her friend… but man! What a bad choice for a friend.. hehe From the interviews I’ve seen of Hayden and the things I read about her, I get that she’s naive views about some things and about people.. she still just a kid. With a good heart imo :)
