Scientology Buys Its Own YouTube Channel

Scientology was pretty pissed off about all those leaked Tom Cruise videos, followed by the awesome Anonymous onslaught.

So now they’ve gone and bought themselves a fancy channel on YouTube.

However, as Gawker dissects, what they’re doing is not really in the spirit of YouTube. Or, well, America.

First of all, we can’t embed the videos on Deceiver.com because the church has paid to disallow other sites to disseminate the propaganda. So we can’t discuss it.

Secondly, they’ve disabled commenting. So we can’t discuss it.

Let’s piss them off and discuss it anyway. Do y’all think this is a move in the “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” direction, or just another way to target impressionable youths who will see ads for the church cult while they’re browsing Playboy videos on YouTube?

If the CoS wasn’t such a terrible group of scammers and fraud artists ( and worse ) I wouldnt mind them. They are so incompetent at things they do it is just so amusing to watch. however, since the do much much more harm than good I’d wish they just dissa…..well, hello Bunnies. Um, gotta go.

Well thanks for thinkin’ of me. (I wasn’t going to be the first one to say it.) Kendra sure is cute. Too bad she’s brain dead though. Sorry I think I’m off topic. F#&! Scientology. There. I hate cults and I gotta be honest when I say that when a bunch of cult people off themselves I don’t feel bad at all. Jonestown, Branch Davidians, Democrats, you know, those types.

Scientology sucks. Do you know what those idiots believe in? That every human being has an aliens spirit in his body. They believe that an evil alien emperor prisoned in earth alien spirits and they inhabbited earth for a long time until the human race came but they were stupid until an alien spirit joined their body. Anyways….

That’s a hole lotta ’slippery slope’ to freedom of speach issues. Do they honestly think people are going to support them more by censoring everyone? Don’t think so.

Anyone dumb enough to join Scientology deserves their subsequent life of misery.

And anyway, last time I checked we live in a free market and YouTube is a business.

The Supereficial has accepted advertising for scientology and have a link to the official scientology video. My Space has also accepted money from scientology and is now a sponsored link on the banner ad. This has happened in the last 2 days. Obviouly, they are working overtime to try to change people’s opinion of them.

Yeah, good luck with that, Scientology.

So this is to pasta and anyone else who claims to be fine when cult followers “off themselves” en mass. Please don’t say things like that. Those cult followers are real people with real mothers and fathers and siblings and children. A lot of teens and 20-somethings join cults because the groups are just so good at making you feel good when you feel worthless and without purpose in your life. Anyone who has ever sought belonging is at risk of falling for a cult like jonestown (the massacre that just happened to occur exactly 7yrs before my birth…) Imagine your own child or sister becoming unknowingly involved in a cult, how could anyone say they are okay with what happened?? We need to find out why people go for these cults and how to fix our culture so that people are not driven to these extremes. When people are satisfied in their lives they don’t need someone else telling them how to live.

You know when you see those guys in rodeos, getting absolutely whaled on by some irate one ton Brahma bull? Yeah I pretty much don’t feel bad for them either.
