Posh Spice Suing Denim Company for $100 Million

posh_spice_jeans.jpgSince Victoria Beckham’s career as a fashion designer seems to have fizzled, perhaps she can support herself as a professional litigant.

As previously reported, Posh Spice’s denim line was dropped last month from LA fashionista havens Kitson and Fred Segal due to poor sales. The $290 jeans eventually popped up on sale racks at Loehmann’s for $70.

Now she’s seeking $100-million from Rock and Republic, the premium denim designer that helped her launch her own line, for loss of earnings, because she thinks the jeans should have sold better than they did.

However, the line was dropped reportedly because she declined to promote the jeans or do anything beyond putting her name on the label.

Is this the first time in history that Posh has avoided publicity? I can’t think of any other time when she’s turned down an opportunity to promote herself.

I have no clue why, and have nothing to back this next statement, but I love the entire Beckham clan.

$70 marked down from $290 for one pair? That’s 69 pairs of jeans less than I’d get, since I get mine at the dollar store.

Loss of earnings!??? Shes a multi millionaire! I think she ought to take herself to a corner of a dark room and have a chat to herself.
so what? she made an investment and it went wrong! get over it! these things happen!
people like her really annoy me sometimes, here i am just scaping thorough life and im lucky to be able to pay my bills every month and im left with just enough to get a months shopping. on the other hand while goldenspuds is out training shes spending his money for him for free on stupidly expensive non-essential items such as $3,000,000 sun glasses. I am genuinley happy for them and what they have achieved in life, but please posh, dont take the piss! ill bet that invesment has’nt even made a dent in your bank balance has it?
I just hope that if she does succesfully sue them, then she will give the money to a charity that desperatley needs it and doesnt blow it all on a new pair of shoes.
