Audrina Patridge Definitely Doesn’t Seek Attention

audrina_bikini.jpgAnd speaking of not keeping your clothes on…

The lone brunette on The Hills was totally not looking for attention when she posed for those nudie shots (NSFW photos here), sent them to Playboy, got rejected, and then went on a MTV faux-reality show where everything is scripted, right down to where they go for brunch.

Audrina tells Vegas magazine:

ā€œI am not an attention whore. I’m not going to release naked photos of myself just to get attention. I’d rather get different attention and be respected.ā€

And also:

Clearing the air, Patridge said the first round of photos, which show her topless in several backdrops, ā€œwere never supposed to be seen.ā€ And the second round, released shortly after the first set hit the Internet, the photographer misrepresented what he intended to do.

ā€œHe was like, ā€˜Let’s just do these, it’ll be like a Maxim thing,ā€™ā€ she said of them. But it was the public’s reaction to the photos that surprised her. ā€œPeople were like, ā€˜You have fake boobs.’ And I’m like, ā€˜No I don’t, but thanks. I take that as a compliment.ā€™ā€

I can’t believe I’m about to defend Maxim, but has she ever picked up a copy? Those shots belong nowhere in there. And I’m not convinced it’s really better to be gullible than it is to try to make it big with your obviously fake boobs.

Matthew McConaughey Is Modest

mcconaughey_ad.jpg

As several Deceiver commenters pointed out last week, Matthew McConaughey rarely goes outside with a shirt on, right?

Like, maybe never?

So it’s kind of oddly quaint that as the star of a Dolce & Gabbana ad, he insisted that the European version (where he’s half naked) not air in America in the name of modesty.

The Daily Mail reports:

The 38-year-old, current face of Dolce & Gabbana’s new fragrance The One, insisted on shooting two ads to preserve his modesty at home in the States.

‘Matthew didn’t want to be bare-chested on billboards in America, although he doesn’t seem to have a problem stripping off in his films,’ says a source.

‘He insisted on having his shirt on for the ad in the States, and off in the one for Europe and Asia.’

I guess because he looks less like a whore with his clothes on.
