George Clooney’s Own Girlfriend Thinks He’s a Hypocrite

clooney_sarah_larson.jpgSarah Larson, the Vegas cocktail waitress who’s been dating George Clooney for the past year, was interviewed in the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

In it, she talks about how they met, what their relationship is like, and how he’s a hypocrite (albeit a handsome one!) for driving a Prius to get to his Gulfstream V.

One thing that attracted her to Clooney was his work in Darfur: “It’s incredible what he’s doing over there, his passion to try to use his status to make a difference.” And though he has a hybrid, Clooney still flies private, which Larson considers “a walking contradiction.” But she says, “People get comfortable. [It's] baby steps.”

Comfortable is just a polite word for complacent, methinks.

Bullsh*t! The only things that attacted her to Clooney were his big wallet and his big connections to celebu-land.

Hollywood is a world of appearances. Can we be really surprised to find an hypocrite there?

  3. 3 CandyKay May 23rd, 2008 at 3:02 pm

Discordia, I really don’t think that’s the ONLY thing that attracted her to Clooney. I’d do him in a minute.

  4. 4 Discordia May 23rd, 2008 at 4:00 pm

CandyKay: By the word “wallet” I mean any large object in his pants.

  5. 5 ava harlot May 23rd, 2008 at 4:10 pm

Just like Discordia said, how fake, if he was a no one she wouldn’t even be with him, and what is she doing while he’s in the gulfstream, riding coach on alaska?

I’ll fully admit to giving Clooney a pass on pretty much anything short of clubbing a baby seal on live TV. I worked with/near him once and he’s just as damned nice and personable as he seems onscreen, no matter how small your gig. He’s a class act, through and through.

  7. 7 Discordia May 23rd, 2008 at 7:51 pm

KurtVile: Granted Mr. Clooney is a class act.
However, the burning question remains: Is she?
After all, she’s the one making these idiotic statements.

Bu11shit! She’s a wh0re! She only got with Clooney because of his money and he can get her into celeb parties & cermonies.

  9. 9 Rocko May 23rd, 2008 at 8:31 pm

Right, Kurt, a nice hypocrite is the same as a mean hypocrite, a hypocrite.

As for CandyKay, what attracted her to Clooney was money and fame. Sure he looks good but she looks good too. She can get good looking poor and unknown people but she’s hit the jackpot with a good looking rich and famous dude. Now all she has to do is indulge him and basically do whatever he wants until he marries her, then a year later she grab him by the balls and take as much as she can (see Heather Mills and Denise Richards). She’s already calling him a hypocrite in public, God knows what she isn’t saying about him.

Yeah, Clooney does seem really classy. He’s like… today’s Cary Grant, except not bi [as far as I know]. If anything, it’s her statements/actions that are less than credible.

And even if Clooney was a nobody, I think she might still date him. He’s one good-looking man.
Okay – I’d still date Clooney if he was a nobody :p.

I give Georgie a lot of points for dating a no-name”waitress” with small breasts–not to mention the unfavorable press she’s had lately. He really seems to be more authentic and less egotistical than most celebs. You don’t see him out there promoting himself or his “worthy causes”. And who are any of us to label him a hypocrite? (She didn’t–deceiver did!) Throwing stones, are we? “Let him/her who is without sin cast the first stone…”

Wow, sounds like a lot of Looney fans on this page.
Ok so he drives his Prius to his private jet. I think that is the story here. Not if she is a bouton.
If she is then she is a highly compensated one. And Looney is, well Looney!

Celebrities do tend to be energy hogs. Madonna, who was recently voted Green Entertainer of the Year, or some such thing, has been cited by realists as the worst offender. Bono is pretty high on the list – he once sent his private jet to pick up a hat.
Hopefully the good works that Clooney does, and I believe that he is sincere, compensate for the overbalance of resources that he uses. I find that he doesn’t irritate me like the other two.

Yeah, if you search our archives, both Madonna and U2 have gained our notice. I hadn’t heard about the hat thing, though…

It’s amazing how people can lie to themselves to make them feel better about screwing someone for no better reason than assets.

  16. 16 Scott May 25th, 2008 at 9:58 pm

This guy’s so in love with himself…….ugh!

  17. 17 Kat May 27th, 2008 at 1:37 am

He can have whoever he wants. She makes him happy and he seems comfortable with her. I don’t think she is a bad person. She is his companion, and he is rich enough to give her things in return. How many times has this happened in history. They are both free to go off, if the relationship crumbles.

I think Sarah should watch what she says about her boyfriend, his gorgeousness. Comments like that are irrelevant, unnecessary and they demean her lover.
