Chris, darling, the bohemians who used to hang out in SOHO couldn't afford to back your Vegas venture. It takes the uptown corporate types that you hate so much to get your little dream going. You have always been Mikey to me. I have always worshiped and adored you as Mikey. Now, shut up before I can't stand to see your face on the screen anymore.

Maybe he has a point. Didn't SJP say the same thing about NYC? Although they're the ones contributing to it's gentrification and general vapidness

“I want to take the club to Vegas. I think a Cutting Room would be great in Vegas. I just haven’t really had the time to go out there and schmooze people and try to get them to invest millions of dollars.”

Ummm....but....isn't that commercialization-ish?

I remember as a kid in the late 70's, New York being regarded as nothing less than a Hell hole. Are the "eccentrics" that he misses the same ones that would stick a screw driver in his back 'cuz they need a fix? I wonder how often he actually walked through those "different (read black) neighborhoods". The west side is still here Chris! Come check it out. I'll even give you a ride!
