I'm a PETA member and I love Jessica Simpsons' chest. It's her brains I have questions about. If meat is really a necessity than how do we explain the presence of millions of vegetarians who seem to have lower cholesterol and obesity rates? Eating meat is a luxury that causes incredible pain to animals that are, in many cases, smarter than Simpson and most of her boy-toys.

As for expeprimentation, I wonder why animals have to pay the price for human stupidity. We arrogantly and foolishly mess around and get AIDS and animals have to be injected with the virus to find a cure for our stupidity. There is no moral justification for this. We exploit animals because they are not able to fight back.

As for killing a thousand animals so one person can live, I value my loyal dog much more than the lying President who caused us 4000 lives because of a desire to start a war better than his daddy. It's only arrogance that makes us think that we are better than animals. We are different--not better. Go visit your local fair, survey the crowd and tell me that these people are better than a trained dog. . .

Animal rights is a radical position. . .
Some of us believe that it is radical to venture out into the backwoods of America in the autumn and kill harmless, sentient animals for "fun."
Some of us think the obesity problem is tied to the growth of fast food restaurants in the 1960s--restaurants that are only now coming around to the notion that greasy meat might be a killer.
Some of us think it is kind of radical to eat animals that have been eating chicken feces--which is a documented supplement to their diet--read Mad Cowboy, and that have been injected with hormones and antibiotics.
PETA is radical much like the abolitionists were in the nineteenth century when a majority believed that slavery was sensible and that abolitionists were radicals. William Lloyd Garrison was pummeled in the streets of a northern city because he was such a radical.

I don't really value stories of research done with someone's dad. If it was so impressive, it was published. Let me see it.

Finally, you guys can hate PETA but you would all benefit from following their ideas about eating less or no meat. We are radical, only because our ideas are new and scare some people, which is why you revert to picking on Pam Anderson.

I guess we do push our views a little but I have plenty of friends who are omnivores and respect them. What I can't respect is the people who don't want to explore the issue but instead make silly remarks about PETA members. Discuss the issues and help yourself by eating less cholesterol laden meat.

Wow, a former porn star that is a bubbleheaded hypocrite? NO, say it isn't so! These spectacular cock-ups by PETA, semi-brainwashing fringe stars only to have them later implode onto a leather couch simply illustrates one of the things truly wrong with PETA. Theres is no intellectual, logical and reasoned argument, rather they depend on fawning emotional appeals to extract their pound of flesh. Sooner or later the emotional high wears off and the real world again laughs in PETA's face as one of their D-list cult members wolfs down a Quarter Pounder with cheese while wearing a fur coat and leaving their Chihuahua in the car to suffocate. The fact that PETA would enlist a bored-out porn star to broadcast their gospel illustrates the overall intelligence of the PETA ruling party, their complete and utter disconnection with the real world and the true ethical foundation of this cult (or lack thereof). PETA is yet another cult of damaged souls who cling pathologically to the animal kingdom because man has failed them or they have failed man. No one understands them in the real world so they fabricate a Disney-based viewpoint of the animals as talking, feeling, engaging anthropomorphisms who will understand and love them as men (or women) never have and in return, they will *save* the little creatures from their cruel fate at the hands of the psychotic carnivores! If only someone had paid for a little counseling, then the world might be free of the absurdist theater that is PETA.

Ah, thanks Oversneer, I didn't even think of checking that site. Haha. Now if only I could find the article or news report on how a man got immobile by eating around 80 oranges a day and couldn't understand why he was gaining weight. ("Oranges are good for you, aren't they?")

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; if animals out in nature eat eachother, than it can't be as wrong and unnatural as PETA thinks.
