PETA rocks because killing animals inhumanely does not rock. There is nothing hypocritical about that fact. Stop bullying vegetarians. Eat what you like, but quit being mean about others who have different opinions. That is not entertaining. It is childish…not that children would agree with any of us. If they saw the clips of Ms. Moo Cow getting processed from farm field to their hot dogs, do you think that they would eat that? Seriously, do you? Would you? Sue (Post 141)– are you kidding me??? I know two people that have been vegetarians/vegans all their lives and are perfectly healthy, successful, energetic adults (who are NOT pompous, self-righteous, or on any type of high horse). Of course, they aren’t shoving their beliefs down people’s throats kind of like PETA is in a way–and I fully disagree with that– but some people really need to give it some thought, instead of thinking — or assuming– that vegetarians are all obsessive animal rights activists.

Some of you people might want to look up a few facts and some reasons why people become vegetarians besides tree- and animal- hugging, preferably info from some non-biased, non-PETA sources so that I might prove my points that you shouldn’t judge people or assume or stereotype. greg (143) and Sophie (147)– agree with your points, in a certain way.

Oh, and one more thing, not all fake meats are gross. And not to offend anyone, but those of you people that attack others on the basis of saying that meat is so yummy, think about it: how does meat taste without any condiment or anything? Is it the flesh that tastes good, or is it the garnish?

To sum it all up: think and educate yourself before you shoot off making judgments and assumptions, keeping in mind that everyone is entitled to their opinions and everyone looks at things from a different perspective, and that goes to omnivores and vegetarians alike.

And anyways, when did this become a discussion forum with debates over personal choices when the original topic was Jessica’s top?

jessica simpson can eat meat and wear whatever she wants. But taking a dig at her boyfriend’s ex so publicly only made her look childish, jealous, and tacky. I think Carrie should wear a t-shirt that says “real girls with talent and class don’t ACT LIKE A PIECE of MEAT!”
