Anne Hathaway Got Out Just in Time

anne_raffaello_0208.jpgAnne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has been arrested in New York on charges of wire-fraud conspiracy and money laundering.

He reportedly conned an investor into thinking Follieri was the chief financial officer of the Vatican, and could get the investor good deals on properties in the United States that are owned by the Catholic Church.

Right now, he’s sitting in jail in Manhattan awaiting arraignment. It’s probably a far cry from his penthouse apartment on Fifth.

We mentioned last week that Anne dumped his thieving ass because she was afraid he was going to ruin her good reputation.

Sounds like she had good reason to worry.

Anyone that could be convinced that THAT guy was the chief financial officer of the frigin’ Vatican deserves to be robbed of every cent. I mean, he looks like a tall for his age 8th grader for God’s sake.

Hey conned by Raffaello Follieri guy. I own the Holy Grail. Wanna buy it?
