Pamela Anderson Loves Animals Almost As Much As She Loves $$$

Pammy has been in Australia for the last few weeks, promoting her appearance on their version of Big Brother tonight. (Or tomorrow, or yesterday, or whichever day it is down there.) Remember last week, when she was doing an Australian radio interview and called Jessica Simpson “a bitch and a whore” for wearing a “Real Girls Eat Meat” t-shirt? She was promoting this Big Brother deal.

But hey, guess what one of the sponsors the main sponsor of the show is? KFC! And guess what ol’ PETA Pam is doing about it? According to the Brisbaine Times:

Earlier today the actress, best known for her role as CJ in the hit ’90s television show Baywatch, spoke out against Big Brother sponsor KFC.

Anderson attacked the fast-food giant’s treatment of chickens through animal-rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with which she is involved.

Tomorrow, she plans to protest in person at a Gold Coast outlet, where she will distribute copies of an information video believed to highlight the alleged mistreatment of chickens by KFC’s suppliers, including in Australia.

Wow, protesting your own show? What high ethical standards! But, you may be wondering, why in the world would the drumstick-denouncing diva agree to appear on the show in the first place, if it’s being sponsored by such an “evil” corporation?

Anderson fronted a press conference this afternoon, admitting she was paid a “huge” sum to enter the Gold Coast house tonight as a special guest…

She refused to say exactly how much money she would pocket for three days’ work, but said her pay cheque was one of the main reasons she agreed to the cameo.

“(It’s) huge… a lot. Much more than I’m worth.”

That doesn’t really narrow it down, does it? I’ve got much more than she’s worth in the cushions of my couch. They should have asked, “Well, how many huge $10,000 leather purses could you buy with it?”

Hand out all the videos you want, Pam. Just try not to think about why it is you have so much free time to do so. Heh, I just told her not to think, that’s funny…

P.S. Deceiver reader Katherine asks:  “How could Pamela Anderson be totally unaware that KFC is a sponsor? Didn’t she have to sign something to be on the show? Funny.” Normally I wouldn’t question Pam’s ignorance on any subject, but yeah, that does sound unlikely.

P.P.S. Must be seen to be believed. Well. Not that it’s all that unbelievable. If you’ve ever wondered how Pam tips her security staff… Huh-huh-huh, “tip,” “staff,” hhhhhuh-huh-huh.

There’s one thing I have learn about the American Mass-Media from Tom Cruise’s antics following MI3 release: If you hurt the bottom line, they will dump you regardless how famous or talented you are. Right now, Pam Anderson is really shooting herself in the foot with a bazooka. There’s an old proverb who says “You don’t s*** where you eat”. I guess she will learn one day.

I’d like to see how this develops, hoping that she will get dumped and lose out on all that money for doing what she is doing. It doesn’t surprise me, though, that she is so easily bought. She is a whore after all.

So when she goes onto the set of Big Brother did they inform the other participants that they are sharing the premises with an Hepatitis C patient??

  4. 4 Pastafarian Jul 9th, 2008 at 1:30 pm

Pam, I have $578.00, a camera, and I’ll swear of KFC forever. Hows that sound? I’ll meet you in my van down by the river. It’s the red one. Sound cool?

  5. 5 Anonymous Jul 9th, 2008 at 2:25 pm

I’m not a fan of PETA, Pam and the whole lot, and I also think that basically every human being is a hypocrite. But if you have ever seen the undercover films of what goes on at (any) chicken processing plant(s), workers were seen urinating on the chickens, sorry but urine-soaked meat does not sound appealing to me, how about you?

(I’ll probably get slammed for this comment but hey nothing like playing devil’s advocate to stir things up)

  6. 6 DavidsWifey08 Jul 9th, 2008 at 2:49 pm

Pam’s just such a big ole class act *coughbullshitcough* RETIRE ALREADY BITCH!!!!!!!!

  7. 7 bg4skyline Jul 9th, 2008 at 2:56 pm

I’m confused about Pammy’s objection to eating meat. Isn’t there a video out somewhere showing her chowing down on a big ole’ sausage? Best regards.

  8. 8 Pastafarian Jul 9th, 2008 at 3:07 pm

That sounds completely logical. Urinating on the chickens. Sure why not? And I know the chickens I buy go directly from the slaughterhouse to my stove. Heck I don’t even wash ‘em or take off the feathers or anything. I’m daring that way.

When I worked at a gas station, I’d poop on the Doritos bags. Someone would say, “Hey there’s poop on these!” I’d say “No there isn’t” and they’d say okay and buy them. Why go all the way to the bathroom? I didn’t want anyone eating Doritos anyway. Right tro- I mean anonymous?

  9. 9 Me Jul 9th, 2008 at 3:16 pm

Pamela you are really very phony because you hate people that eat meat like me and wear furs, leather shoes and so on. Tell me something: ” why are you wearing that super expensive Hermes leather bag?” HYPOCRITE ! GO TO HELL YOU ARE YOUR F…. PETA ORG”

  10. 10 bg4skyline Jul 9th, 2008 at 3:21 pm

Hey Pastafarian! You can borrow my video cam, if you wish. Hope all’s well.

  11. 11 llamasrule Jul 9th, 2008 at 10:04 pm

“much more than I’m worth” Ha Pam!! Just how much is that? when Kid Rock thinks you’re a nasty skeeze, you’ve just about hit bottom. Maybe they are just getting Baywatch over there. Hey Pastafarian has almost $600 and you don’t even have to fly.

@bg4skyline ROTFLMAO!! I have had that thought before. What’s she got against meat, she eats enough of it!!

  12. 12 Maybelline Jones Jul 10th, 2008 at 11:56 am

She also really did her homework before appearing on the show, saying that there isn’t a “Big Brother” in America. Hello? That piece of trash show has been on for 10 seasons here!

  13. 13 Katherine Jul 11th, 2008 at 1:56 am

LOL my gawd i love this site and thanks for putting this story up! i mean how could she NOT know that KFC was a sponsor of big brother? puhleese..

  14. 14 Katherine Jul 11th, 2008 at 1:58 am

oh and just want to add one thing.. i saw pictures of her “protesting” today outside of a KFC and she was in booty shorts. i mean, nothing says TAKE ME SERIOUSLY like booty shorts at age 40 right?

  15. 15 Chronic Malanga Jul 11th, 2008 at 8:24 am

Is there ever an appropriate time for booty shorts outside of porno movies and strip clubs? I’m not a prude or anything, but there’s stuff I wore at 25 that I won’t wear at 34, and as edgy as some of that stuff was, booty shorts did not enter the equation. Just sayin’…

  16. 16 Pastafarian Jul 11th, 2008 at 9:05 am

I wear booty shorts. Just another Wednesday night around here.

  17. 17 CK Jul 11th, 2008 at 9:19 am

PETA rocks… cruel animal abusers suck! The arrogance of humanity in their cruelty to animals is beyond speech!

  18. 18 The Oversneer Jul 11th, 2008 at 10:07 am

There’s some great discussion about this at http://thesuperficial.com/2008/07/pamela_anderson_is_kind_of_a_h.php — Note the photo of Pam and one of her PETA “handlers,” who forgot to zip up his trousers (which is understandable, given the company he was in…)

Let me revise my previous comment…

Is there ever an appropriate time for booty shorts outside of porno movies, strip clubs and Pasta’s place on a Wednesday?

  20. 20 Aleric Jul 11th, 2008 at 12:58 pm

The girl with the sign isn’t bad looking, “Hey baby want to go talk about chicken cruelty?”

  21. 21 llamasrule Jul 11th, 2008 at 2:26 pm

    Is choking them cruel?

  22. 22 Pastafarian Jul 11th, 2008 at 2:56 pm

Maybe that’s just how they wear them in Australia did you ever think of that? Its winter there now, the water runs backwards, pants stay unzipped, and Pamela Anderson is the voice of reason. I’ve never been “down under” but Pam obviously has (down under get it?). Australia is bizarro world. They wash the cat, walk the cars, and everyone wears helicopter beanies. I even hear your reflection actually shows you from the back. Can I stop now? Man I’m sleepy time to go jogging.

  23. 23 timbur Jul 12th, 2008 at 10:06 am

what the hell?? I love abstract humour but you’ve never ever ever been to australia have you? we denounce all pamela andersons!!! it’s actually sad that one of our worst reality shows ever has to grab attention like this ………not to mention scary because thats so near where I live!!

  24. 24 Simon Scowl Jul 12th, 2008 at 10:35 am

I love abstract humour but you’ve never ever ever been to australia have you?

    Huh??

  25. 25 bg4skyline Jul 12th, 2008 at 1:06 pm

Hey CK. For crying out loud, go buy yourself a nice, juicey Steak. Or, maybe take a midol. You could use one. Thanks.

  26. 26 Christina X Jul 16th, 2008 at 1:14 am

How much longer is this crusade with her going to last?

The harder she argues, the deeper she digs her own grave. Let’s face it, Pam only protests *certain* companies that aren’t convenient for her, like *cough*, clothing.

  27. 27 ashley Aug 4th, 2008 at 9:31 am

the funny thing is that ingham supply kfc with chicken here in australia so it isn’t even kfc being ‘cruel’ to the chickens its their suppliers, which she has no evidence.
if she’s going to blame anyone for being cruel to chickens why blame the people who get them once they’re dead anyway.

i live in australia, have never walked my car, i dont own a cat, always zip up my pants, water doesn’t run ‘backwards’ just in the opposite direction when you flush the toilet and i saw a helicopter hat once, never a beanie.

the funny thing is that every single australian laughs at americans because you are represented by people like pamela anderson all the time. its a huge lol for us, we all think you’re all the “bizarro” ones.

I see your Pam Anderson and raise you a Yahoo Serious.
