Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested early yesterday morning for drunk driving after he hit another car and rolled his SUV over onto its roof.
His passenger and the other driver were fine, but LaBeouf received “extensive hand surgery” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Still, his publicist says he’ll be back to work on the set of Transformers 2 within a month.
Maybe it’s just me but it seems like the 22-year-old has a bit of an alcohol problem. He was arrested in November for getting into a security guard’s face at a Walgreens in Chicago.
He didn’t seem too concerned about it, later joking with David Letterman:
“Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it’s just as bad.”
Seems to me that drinking is the common denominator here, Shia. Look into it.

you guys are kind of mean, dont you think? just because he is famous, doesnt mean you should wish ill on him. and as for getting drunk, well i think if you look at the age that is listed right there in the last paragraph, you will understand why he drank. HE IS 22 PEOPLE, 22 year olds drink, dont over analyze this because he is a celebrity, because that is just wrong

The fact that he is 22 is completely irrelevant. He’s going to kill someone if he continues to get behind the wheel of a care while he’s drunk.
That’s not mean, that’s reality.
umm “kind of mean”? I seriously hope you’re not trying to justify his actions because he’s 22? WHAT? The ‘youth’ today are more armed with what is right and wrong with regards to drunk driving, drinking in general, drug use etc, etc, etc. AND celebutards have “people” to drive them around and bring them their coffee, cigs and whipe their bums too.
He makes really, really stupid decisions. BUT I can’t recall him ever claiming to be better than that. Isn’t this site about exposing celebrity hypocrites? Maybe I missed something.

I think mos of us are simply tired of pampered celebs who have tons of money, fame and noteriety and then make really stupid decisions whcih show how they are not worth the amount of money they are paid for thier profession. Stack that up with the PR their agents spew out along with their own self loving rhetoric and its tends to make you callous about what happens to them on a daily basis.
I’m equal opportunity when it comes to wishing ill on drink-and-drivers. I despise them all, celebrity or civilian, under-age or old enough to know better. That said, this makes me feel a little more justified in my irrational pre-existing dislike of Shia “pet” LaBeouf

Brittany- um, nobody said drinking alcohol makes you horrible. But if your uncle gets wasted and gets in his car, I hate him too even if he isn’t famous. Guys, it’s the DRIVING part we hate you for if you drink. Nobody cares if you get wasted at home, but if you get wasted and then endanger other people…worthless person.
And to clarify, this isn’t based on if your famous or if I don’t know you. I’ve yelled at my friends for being idiots and doing this too. They’re over 21 too, but I don’t expect them to do this.
Celebrities, get wasted at home or call a taxi. Everybody else too.

well, the fact that he does this is pretty COMMON, though that does not make it right and never ever wish death on ppl no matter what, that get charged to your heart-christian or not. The fact that hes put on blast is not fair-in that case post a story on every 22yr old how drinks and drives. Honestly, hes a good actor and if he wants to keep it that way, hel’ll hire a drive and/or get help.
