The part that peeves me is he can joke about drinking and driving.

Brittany- um, nobody said drinking alcohol makes you horrible. But if your uncle gets wasted and gets in his car, I hate him too even if he isn’t famous. Guys, it’s the DRIVING part we hate you for if you drink. Nobody cares if you get wasted at home, but if you get wasted and then endanger other people…worthless person.

And to clarify, this isn’t based on if your famous or if I don’t know you. I’ve yelled at my friends for being idiots and doing this too. They’re over 21 too, but I don’t expect them to do this.

Celebrities, get wasted at home or call a taxi. Everybody else too.

I’m equal opportunity when it comes to wishing ill on drink-and-drivers. I despise them all, celebrity or civilian, under-age or old enough to know better. That said, this makes me feel a little more justified in my irrational pre-existing dislike of Shia “pet” LaBeouf

I think mos of us are simply tired of pampered celebs who have tons of money, fame and noteriety and then make really stupid decisions whcih show how they are not worth the amount of money they are paid for thier profession. Stack that up with the PR their agents spew out along with their own self loving rhetoric and its tends to make you callous about what happens to them on a daily basis.

If you click on that link about the Walgreens arrest, they quote him as saying:

“Work is important to me and I treat it important and it’s been good to me,” LaBeouf previously told Access. “It’s like one of the best relationships I’ve had with anything. It’s been really good to my family so you gotta be good to it. Perception sometimes is more important than performance. If people perceive you as a good actor then they’ll wish for you to be a good actor and they’ll root for you when they watch you but if you come out and you’re going to clubs every night and people don’t root for you anymore.”

It seems to me he thinks he’s better than that, no?

He makes really, really stupid decisions. BUT I can’t recall him ever claiming to be better than that. Isn’t this site about exposing celebrity hypocrites? Maybe I missed something.
