Sometimes it’s all so clear why the messed-up celebrities outnumber the mentally healthy, panties-wearing, rehab-avoiding stars.
Both Dina and Michael Lohan are back in the tabloids this week. As one of our favorite readers Discordia pointed out to us, the She-Lohan has been slammed for not conducting due diligence before accidentally getting 14-year-old daughter Ali an audition with a porn peddler. Acting like neither mom nor manager, that one.
Then dad Michael wormed his way into MSN’s The Scoop for playing holier-than-thou about Lindsay’s rumored wedding to girlfriend Samantha Ronson. He slimed:
“I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle,” says Michael. “She knows about my (Christian) faith … she just wouldn’t ask.”
So much for not talking to the press about her personal life. Which, if you haven’t heard, he doesn’t agree with.
Anderson Cooper, while sitting in for Regis on Regis and Kelly, made some very forthright comments about Ali being 14 going on 60 today.

you know what, dina is just pissed because the truth hurts! ali lohan is 14 years old and she looks like an old woman which i think is so sad. dina wants her to be famous so she can just caaaaash in. has anyone heard ali’s “all the way around” song by the way? how come i picture dina lohan booty dancing in the background? hahaha this family is just a piece of work.
You know what I have noticed about Ali, other than the fact that she looks like she’s hitting menopause, poor thing? She looks absolutely uncomfortable in every photo you see of her. Say what you will about Lindsay, and trust me, I say a whole lot about Firecrotch Lohan, but she at least can manage to face the paps with some sense of star quality or whatever that It is. Ali just looks like she doesn’t know what to do with herself.
I have to give the elder Lohans a tiny bit of credit, lately. Though they are still talking a bunch of smack to the press, even after saying that they wouldn’t, it could have been worse. Though Daddy Lohan’s Christian schtick is tiring, and Dina is just… scary. Her greed is tangible.
His “Christian faith” seemed to be absent when he fathered a secret baby, who he hasn’t been supporting, or coming clean about to his ex or other children. Every time I see him the SNL faux-mercial for Mom Jeans pops into my head.
