Hi Factchecker, do you have any links to support your argument?

These are from the web site of the District Court of the Virgin Islands:

Lee Rohn was charged with a felony:
"Posession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute."
http://www.vid.uscourts.gov/territorial/03cr0113.pdf

"The charge stems form an incident on or about March 29, 2003 at the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport, St. Croix, USVI, when during a routine inspection, a U.S. Customs agent discovered a substance believed to be marijuana inside the luggage of the defendant."
http://www.vid.uscourts.gov/territorial/03cr0113.pdf

The Federal Government says a joint averages 0.39 grams
(www.whitehousedrugpolicy.gov/publications/drugfact/drug_avail/chpt5.pdf )

"(1) The marijuana had a gross weight of 13.3 grams"

what is wrong with you fortunate son--you don't know your measurements. it was not a suitcase full of weed for rohn it was the equivalent of a joint. records indicate the prosecution was more political then criminal as she was the only one ever charged for such a small amount.

`you aren't too good at research either. the newspaper you quoted, daily news was owned by jeffrey prosser who is now in bankruptcy having lost everything he owned as a result of taking his emloyees pension benefits and is about to be indicted for banking fraud. i don't know that a quote from him that rohn is harrassing him is a bad thing. it turns out rohn was right and he was dirty

Over 100 citations amuses me greatly, given this:

"<i>There's a golden number of references for articles. Too little, it's unsourced. Too many, the article writer is desperate to prove their point and becomes a NPOV issue. Q.V. Scientology controversies, which had around 200 references but is a POV landmine. Sceptre (talk) 19:42, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Look, I understand that everyone has an opinion, but it really bothers me that people here are saying that I write "attack articles" or "unsourced articles" or that I am "desperate to prove (a) point". The fact is that I have always worked hard to uphold neutrality and the BLP policy, and I challenge anyone to cite an example otherwise. With respect - Kelly hi! 19:46, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

<b>I'm not saying you didn't include not enough references, I'm saying you included too many. Sceptre (talk) 19:48, 4 August 2008 (UTC)</b></i>"

That's from here:

Austin,

Um, aren't most of the people on Blogs geeks or we'd have social lives and not be here?

At least I have an excuse as I am nursing all day and night. Thinking about starting my own blog that Lisa Druck can join: The SLUM Report- (single lactating unemployed mother)

I agree with what you said about pols. The best leaders are the volunteers I know who show up every month for local Coalition meetings and get things done from the grass-roots level. The biggest recognition they get is a cheap award at a banquet but they do it for their families and for the satisfaction they get from making things happen for the people in their communities.

Friedman is not infallible. For example, at Cannes, he posted that Brangelina told him they were going to have two girls (not a boy and girl).

However, Friedman hates Jan Wenner with a passion, so I'll excuse him.

Hey PJ, I love how Fox's Roger Friedman knows enough about the case to ID Roxanned Druck after it was posted here, but not enough to figure out Lee Rohn is a woman.

I have a feeling Roger is a Deceiver reader also. (Welcome, Roger!)

<blockquote>The Enquirer, meanwhile, says it traced Hunter to a house in St. Croix owned by a lawyer named Lee Rohn, whom it calls a close friend of Edwards. But Rohn’s most recent political contribution went to Barack Obama. He gave the presumptive Democratic nominee $1,300 on Feb. 4, 2008, just four days after Edwards left the race and three weeks before Hunter had her baby.

Rohn did donate $2,300 to Edwards’ primary run last September. He also gave Obama $1,000 during the summer of ’07 for his primary campaign.
</blockquote>

<i>almostblue</i>
"Was Gandalph married? JK Rowling said that Dumbledore was gay so he might not make the ticket."

*Geek warning*

Technically, Gandalf was the Tolkienian equivalent to an angel (a "Mayar") so he couldn't have gotten married.

<i>almostblue</i>
"Someone at Kos is taking a poll on whether to reinstate Stranahan. I read some of the comments and I have to say there is something WEIRD about what they call their “community.” Not kidding. I am new to all this, of course but what the ___ is with the “hiding ratings” or whatever they are called? It all seems VERY juvenile. It’s like if they don’t like what you say you get kicked out of their little tree fort. Again, it’s just my perspective as an outsider but I thought the web was supposed to be inclusive."

And y'see, it was seeing this kind of behaviour among supposed "progressives" and "liberals" that convinced me that they were just as much full of it as anyone on the other side of the wing. People are people, politicians are politicians. Plato's astute observation from the <i>Republic</i> still stands, and that is that the people who best deserve to be in a place of power simply won't seek it, and those who do seek it do not deserve to be there.

/sigh

I almost feel tempted to CC this to the latest bit about populist Obama selling the VIP seats in the Democrat black market... change we can believe in and all, y'know.

The sacrificial lamb #s are getting high and the contest for most misplaced loyalty is tough to call. Would you expose yourself to this kind of scrutiny where there are hundreds of people looking to find dirt on you? For a pal? JE is starting to look like a different level of Manson.

I agree that Lisa Druck is coming out ahead so far but that could change. She might actually get stuck with JE who behaves like a sociopath and something tells me she is not the type to want to raise 4 kids. While she is watching the kids, who will watch JE and how will she fit in her public appearances? I guess she'll have his millions to keep her warm.
