Mazel tov to Michael Lohan and his bride-to-be Erin Muller, who happens to be 24. For those keeping track at home, MiLo is 48 and Lindsay is 22. I’m sure that marriage will be the real deal and not destined to fail in any way.
But the real story is barely news. Michael continues to delude himself about his role in his daughter’s life, calling LiLo constant companion Samantha Ronson a hanger-on:
“I’m not happy,” Michael Lohan says. “Ever since [Lindsay] got out of rehab and all these people came back into her life, things haven’t been right.
“People like Samantha Ronson don’t need to be around Lindsay. She shouldn’t be dragging Lindsay around nightclubs. Who was Samantha Ronson before Lindsay Lohan? She was nobody. She is using her for her own gain. All these people have inserted themselves into her life like parasites, and it’s not right. I’m done with them.”
O RLY? First of all, Sam is a DJ, a good one who was active in the circuit for a long time before Lindsay Lohan. So she works in nightclubs. Second, commentary on his parenting skills at this point would be redundant, as we at Deceiver.com have made our thoughts on the matter abundantly clear.

i read about this earlier and i thought “who is he calling a user?” this dude talks to the press any time he gets a chance, it’s insane. all i knew about samantha ronson is that she’s a DJ. lindsay’s mother said she likes her and that shes a good influence. that whole family is a mess so who knows lol oh yeah lindsay being 22 and his bride to be being 24? really great!
Coming from the biggest hanger on, fame whore, user… you can probably see where I am going with this.
Nevermind that these young talentless celebutards are in and out rehab and milking their 15 minutes of fame…but the parents in my opinion are worse. They whore their children out in the hollyweird business and in the media. Then ride their coat tails later on all the while spewing comments of how their kids should be acting. Michael, you sir are the true parasite.
A couple of thoughts that come to mind:

I have a tough time deciding who is worse, Dina or Michael. On the one hand, Michael was an alcoholic wife beater who then found jesus and, suddenly, was “saved.” Then there is Dina who loves to do cocaine with her daughter while partying in clubs with her, while trying to be her “best friend.” Because, as we all know, that is our role as a parent, as opposed to trying to guide them into making good choices and taking care of themselves.
However reprehensible Michael is, he makes a good point. While Samantha may have her own career, one that requires being in clubs, a “former” addict is not her best companion if that “former” addict wants to maintain her sobriety. And we know that Lindsay has been so “good” after leaving rehab and that her sobriety is her most important goal. Still, it is best, even for the most iron willed addict, to avoid scenes that might compromise their sobriety. Even dumb ass Michael knows that.
QueenBee’s right. They’re not drinking apple juice in those clubs. Plus there’s the creepy oooh-are-they-or-are-they-not stuff between these two that seems to be Lindsay’s idea of great publicity.
Still to hear it coming from Pops Lohan is a pot/kettle/black moment.

I’ve seen the pictures. He shouldn’t be sad about losing a daughter, he should be happy to be gaining a son.
Didn’t know if it’s true but he’s about to box Kevin Federline in a “Celebrity Boxing” tv spectacle. He uses Lindsay’s name whenever he can. Samantha has to go to clubs because it’s her job. Lindsay is a grown adult woman that follows Sam into the clubs. Lindsay doesn’t make enough money to support either herself or Sam. Sam at this point probably makes more money than Lindsay does. She’s a top DJ getting top dollar in the top clubs out there and was doing so long before meeting Lindsay. Samantha apparently had the good reputation before meeting Lindsay and didn’t drink or do drugs and was looked at back then as a good influence on Lindsay. At that time Lindsay Lohan was dating Harry Morton. Harry and Sam were looked at good role models for Lindsay. Especially Harry because his famous half-sister Domino Harvey died of an overdose.
What was that last comment about Sam Ronson? You’re giving her WAY more credit when do. Ask how many people have HEARD of her BEFORE hooking up with Lohan. There’s been pics of them at the club drinking alcohol (would NOT be surprised if they still doin the coke….its just more HIDDEN from the paps, and she still does that “water bottle vodka” also).
Like I said, no one ever heard her DJ, and WTF kind of profession is that you’re paid to stand there and basically be an iPod or whatever. I’m not sure if she has her own songs, but if she was a “good” as you say, we’d hear about more of her MUSIC instead of this dyke “relationship” with Lohan. They are NOT known for their acting and music. Look at the pics. They’re either shopping, eating, and clubbing. Wow what a useless LIFE! Whatever with these celebutards, and the ONLY reason Lohan is with Ronson is because she comes from a WEALTHY FAMILY. SHE HAS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!! So whatever “support” they may get from these little “projects” (leggings, ect….) that seem to FAIL all the time, they get their monies from Ronson’s mommy and daddy. wow, thehoustongirl, so you don’t approve of Ronson b/c she’s a “trust fund baby” AND you don’t approve of her because you think her job is b.s.? Awesome…so she should get a job, but not that one? And as someone who has to put together events, yeah, a DJ is a professional gig, much like caterer, decorator, and hell actor or musician. It’s not as vital to the world as farming or medicine, but neither is 90% of what people’s jobs are these days.

That is a pretty nasty thing to say about DJs. Look if you want to knock Sam Ronson, giver tits, but don’t dump on an entire profession because you know about it.
Sam Ronson is considered to be a decent DJ. Not the best, not the worst, but she has apparently found her niche in this career, so I don’t see any reason to trash her for that. At least she’s out there making a living, which is more than a lot of trust fund babies are willing to do.
I think it’s pretty plain that Michael is just running his mouth because he gets attention each time he does. Quite frankly, if he never did again, I would not feel I were missing anything, but the collective train wreck that is the Lohan family has become morbidly entertaining to watch.
As for Lindsay. I don’t have a whole lot of respect for her, but I have to give her just a little credit for at least making less of a spectacle of herself than she was even six months ago. If Sam Ronson represents even a little bit of stability in her life, and has a part in curbing some of her substance excesses, great. Michael certainly can’t say the same.
Truly if he wants a good relationship with his daughter he needs to learn to just zip it. Everything is not for public consumption.

I’m going to go against the grain and agree with Daddy Lohan on one point, Lindsay doesn’t need to a legitimate reason (”my girl is the DJ”) to be in a club (alcohol heaven, cocaine eden). I thought she was recovering.
