Thank You, Jon Stewart, for These Priceless Moments We Are About to Receive

… and thank you, TiVo, for letting me catch up on The Daily Show at my own pace.

Priceless.

Karl Rove? Bill O’Reilly? Dick Morris?

What do they know?

And kudos to Stewart for giving Sarah Palin the last word. She made more sense than the lot of ‘em.

This is why I love Jon Stewart.

Pompous asses. And the Republicans think we Independants are stupid enough to play along. Whoever becomes the next president will spend the next 4 years cleaning up this exponentially sized pile of financial malfesence. Along with the War in Iraq, Russia, Hugo Chavez, inadequate care for our Veterans and decaying infrastructure.

Jon Stewart…..this is my dream man.

  4. 4 Missy Sep 18th, 2008 at 1:14 pm

    Love him!

He talks about her again on the 16th.

OK, Mr. equal-time. Let’s see the Jon Stewart clips of him mocking Obama’s mouthpieces touting his unbelievable executive experience. Where’s that one?

Why, that’d be racist, wouldn’t it? JFK & John Kerry were ‘C’ students at Harvard & Yale, so Obama MUST be qualified.

    Hilarity. ^_^

Can anyone find the clip of Bill O’Reilly defending himself against John Stewart’s attacks? I don’t have access to youtube (stupid work with it’s stupid firewall) but I remember watching it.

Why does everyone think this video is so fantastic?

Female Democrats love to act insulted by McCain’s VP pick, but truth be told, there are indeed A LOT of women angry about the fact that the Dems had two candidates, nearly identical on paper, vying for the nomination, and they went with the man. To make matters worse, Obama could’ve chosen Hillary for his running mate, created the “Dream Ticket,” secured 18 million votes and had this election in the bag, but his ego got in the way. He didn’t want his second-in-command being more qualified than him.

As for sexism, it’s not sexist to question a candidate’s experience. Why not? Because that is a question also asked of male candidates. (Another reason why McCain’s VP pick was smart–any question of her experience by the Obama camp has a boomerang effect). But one question Barack Obama has yet to be asked is how he’s going to balance his duties as a father with his duties if elected President. Sure, the American people have a right to question how Sarah Palin can balance the demands of her family with her career demands. But that question puts tape on those “18 million cracks in the glass ceiling.” That very question is the reason why women continue to make less on the dollar than men. That question is why women feel guilty for taking maternity leave. That question is the reason why women feel guilty for returning to work after maternity leave. Despite the efforts of the FMLA, that question is the reason why some women have to worry if they’ll even have a job to return to after maternity leave.

Feminists have blown their cover this election. They don’t support all women, they support Liberal women. They call pro-lifers “one issue voters,” while they continue to be “one issue feminists.” I guess if you find it your womanly responsibility to fight for the rights of innocent children, who cannot fight for themselves against those who want easy access to murder on demand, I guess that makes you less of a woman. (Or not a woman at all, from what I hear.)

In case anyone missed last night’s show, Stewart did an absolutely hilarious piece about the failure of Lehman and the bailout.

Is this the third time I’ve seen this on Deceiver. Anyway, up the Sarah Palin half the video is alright.

Jon Stewart is the most arrogant ,egotistical buffoon on the air. Years ago I liked him but he has become insufferable.

Check out hulu.com for fresh shows on a daily basis.

No, this was not a paid endorsement.

I don’t know. Though I find Stewart to be an extremely attractive man, I don’t doubt he’s got an extremely bloated head, too. However, he isn’t any different than any other television talk show host out there. How can you take him seriously if he airs on Comedy Central? I know people do, but if you don’t see his humor, why would you want to (take him seriously, that is)?

I’d still marry him in a heartbeat, though. Ego and all, his personality on television is still nicer than the men to date around here. >_>

well this news is a little bit old but I never tire of it nonetheless :)

Thanks to Jon Stewart (and Deceiver) for always keeping up with the hypocrites of this nation!

Jon Stewert is the most “arrogant, egotistical buffoon on the air”???????????? Has Dr. Phil finally been given his walking papers?

  15. 15 Matthew Sep 19th, 2008 at 6:23 pm

Stewart is a little man with a huge chip on his shoulder. He’s the Robert Conrad of comedy. Why do little men have to be big jerks? I’ve run across it all my life and Stewart is no different. Would Jon Leibowitz have been decent if he had grown a few inches taller?

  16. 16 Quinn Sep 20th, 2008 at 1:02 pm

    Go Sarah Palin!

Why all this picking on the Republicans? When is the Media going to mock Obama and company? Or are they afraid of being called “racist”?

    To Lori,

Bravo! Well said. I couldn’t agree with you more.

  18. 18 I choose me Sep 22nd, 2008 at 12:53 pm

It’s amazing to me that both Dems and Repubs can only ever see the hypocrisy of the other side. All politicians lie and or embellish the facts. The way I see it, it basically comes down to picking the lesser of two evils. Good luck come Novemeber America.
