I doubt the original line licensed the DKNY version because if it did, it would bear the name somewhere, i.e. "Sretsis for Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans." I don't know what the legal ramifications would be, particularly since this is an Asian label and in Asia, everybody rips off everybody else. Had it been a Marc Jacobs or something, there would be biiiiiiig trouble. We'll have to see. In any case, I'm willing to bet the DKNY knockoff costs waaaaay less than the Sretsis version, which is why I'm upset the dress is sold out on DKNY's website. Dangnabbit! I haven't noticed anything obviously ripped off with the other designs, but they are mostly standard denim wear, with lots o' skinny jeans. What's REALLY hilarious is that Rachel Bilson has been recently photographed wearing every denim label under the sun except her own!
