Well, the “right” is still there. If someone is convinced to vote against McCain primarily because of this ad, I’m not sure if the ad itself is the only problem. Yes, the ad is dishonest, but if someone is that easily swayed, chances are they don’t practice thinking for them self very often in other areas of life anyway, right? I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it’s the ad’s fault.

…what? Alright, I’m quite far left (Dennis Kucinich is my homefry) and this pisses me off. People have the right to vote for WHOEVER THEY WANT. Ads like this take away the right of thinking for one’s self….I’m just not continuing.

But, for the love of FSM, I hope Obama wins.

I’m thisclose to making one of those ranty bugger-off-Hollywood YouTube movies. Anyone who needs the opinion of a pop star or a second-rate actor on a second-rate smutty teen show to choose a candidate ought to automatically lose the right to vote. Any such person is a brainless moron and unfit to participate in a democracy. I have more respect for a hardcore socialist who knows exactly what Obama stands for and thinks they are all good reasons to vote for him than some bimbo who wants to vote for Obama because Sarah Silverman, Justin Timberlake, and her favorite OTP on Gossip Girl are all voting for him.
