Saudi needs to get its s**t together and build a real economy with a sustainable society. Over the next 10 years as alternative fuels become more mainstream their money ship is gonna start sinking and unless they do like the Emirates (open up and diversify)

I saw this headline on Yahoo News yesterday, and would have burst out laughing if it weren’t so pathetic. Like seeing the old apartheid regime in South Africa sponsor a meeting on racial equality and harmony.

The Saudi government’s attempts to be best buddies with the G8 powers/world community and simultaneously buy off its terrorist population would be amusing if it weren’t so scary. As hypocritical regimes go, they’re Top 5 in my book.

You mean people who insult what you believe? Of course that is upsetting. If I say I believe my Jesus is a Zombie, and you tell me I am wrong, YOU are being the intolerant one. And I have a right to be upset with you. You are no different than Abdul or who ever up there if you are trying to “correct” peoples beliefs who don’t want them “corrected”.

Show some respect to the Somali who stones the raped victim to death for commiting adultry.
Show some respect to the Indonesian who blows up 100 people because he doesn’t like disco. (who does?)
