Olbermann Talks, Is Turkey

Who knew one kitchen segment could hold so much hypocrisy? I was so focused on Martha Stewart’s idiocy in that clip I put up yesterday, I totally missed the other loon on the set:

Sure, it’s a small lie, as these things go. But why tell it? You know you were on a national TV show just hours before, saying something different, but you say it on your own national TV show anyway. What a strange man.

Speaking of turkey necks, can’t this guy afford a gym membership? Not that I’m one to talk, but at least I hide behind a keyboard where I belong.

I love how he calls it a “newscast” like he’s some political scientist, or journalist. Anyone that watches this clown deserves a serious punching.

That is nothing compared to the vile epitaphs he spews about the current President and the Republican party. Thing is no one ever calls him on this and NBC lets him get away with it. he got so bad during the Democrat Caucus that they had to take him off the Team that went to the Republican Caucus.

They will eat the turkey, but don’t want to be reminded how it got to the table.

I was going to say something but saying something would only detract from the film. Oh wait! Have you seen this? http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/countdown-with-keith-olbermann/805561/

Best thing Affleck has done since Chasing Amy.

Do you people even understand what sarcasm is?

I mean, yeah, Olbermann is probably crazy, but the only reason you’d be calling him out on this particular ‘lie’ is because you have way, way too much time on your hands.

Loved Keith until he started attacking Hillary Clinton – now he is just a mad, crazy clown in need of a straight jacket and padded cell. Him and Palin should both be locked up together. They deserve each other!

I don’t go to Keith Olbermann for his sense of humor or delivery. I hate how he puffs up and shakes when he does his Special Comments, but I love that he does them. Every honest journalist should be slamming the Bush administration now and then because the fact that they’ve committed offenses against the Constitution and the dignity of the nation are a matter of public record, not a radical point of view. And if we’re grading by degrees, he’s infinitely more honest and accurate than his opposite counterpart, Bill O’Reilly.

I think it’s obvious that he was trying to make a joke by bringing up that video. Problem is he’s just utterly humorless. But everything he says about it can at least be interpreted as factual second-hand information. He never says he saw it on Martha’s show. I completely disagree that he lied.

    Who would?

Every honest journalist should be slamming the Bush administration now and then because the fact that they’ve committed offenses against the Constitution and the dignity of the nation are a matter of public record, not a radical point of view.

If that’s true, why is he still in office? And why does it look like Obama will continue those same “offenses”?

Simon, quit asking the tough questions that are, by rule, supposed to be ignored!
