If Obama fails miserably to fulfill people's expectations, she won't be able to step up as the dem candidate in 2012 because of her close ties to the Obama administration. If not, Obama will continue to be the dem choice, and she'll be too old (especially because women do not look more "distinguished" with age) for serious consideration in 2016. I was dismayed that New York was actually stupid enough to elect Hillary to the senate. I mean, New Yorkers are supposed to be so much smarter than us poor, stupid Arkies. I was thrilled that Obama managed to beat her out, and she would not be president. Now, here we go with her in another position so that I have to see her face on tv night after night. Hill and Bill have always been about whatever was opportunistic for them. Bill had numerous affairs while Governor, and those women (stupid as they may have been for getting involved with him) were ridiculed and trampled under the feet of the "friends of Bill" who were determined to get him elected president. Hillary was of course aware of his zipper issues, which continued in the White House, but chose to go along to further her career. It's amazing to me that so many women worship her. She is the absolute opposite of what I try to be, or what I would want my daughter to be - someone who claims to be such a modern woman, but has used her affiliation with a man to get where she is.
