I like him. I just said he's not among "the best." Considering he only needed to vamp his politics a little bit to go independent, he's a pretty liberal specimen of a Republican. 2) Palin was the best thing about his ticket, not "a mistake," and I'm pretty sure it was more than a minority of republicans who were voting for her in spite of McCain, not the other way around. 3) 4% is my rather sarcastic reference to Obama's mottled ethnical background. You're right--race SHOULDN'T matter--but for some reason, "everyone's" screaming in joy about America getting over its racism by voting in a (barely) black leader. If the country really weren't racist, that wouldn't matter. But somehow it does. Someone can explain that to me, if they like. 4) Maybe the Dali 'Bama won because 52% (hardly a sweeping victory by any definition) drank the Kool Aid--and he hasn't even been sworn in, and we're already getting an inkling of what a mistake it may have been to put that kind of "change" in power. Unless you're of a school that thinks that ANY change is a good change--in which case, the Bush administration must've been great, because it was a change from the Clinton Years! booyo:
