May I refresh your memory about why you care?
“I am vegetarian so I don’t have clothes, shoes or bags made from leather or suede or any animal products. … I’m on a mission.”
That photo was taken recently at LAX, but apparently she was wearing the Prada bag again today. I mean, doesn’t she know the skin of a Snuffleupagus counts as an animal product?
(Thanks belong to Deceiver loyalist Allyson for the tip!)

Hey, she’s famous (I think). She doesn’t have to follow up with what she says. All us ignorant folks just have to blindly follow her. Plus, that weave of hers might have a little equine in it.
Boy I’m catty today. Must not have had enough coffee.
Don’t women always have like a million shoes/purses? Why six months later is she still carrying the same purse? Is that completely sexist? I’ll ask my secretary that’s always dressed like a sexy schoolgirl/nurse (sexy school nurse?) when she gets back with my coffee. It better be hot this time or she’s gonna get such a spanking!
If you publicly subscribe to a vegetarian diet, all is forgiven by PETA because they’re so trivial.
“Plus, that weave of hers might have a little equine in it.”
I don’t know about the hair, but the face sure does.
PETA isn’t even trying. I keep saying that, but they must just like seeing their name in print/on the web, even when it’s calling out one of their little darlings.
It’s a fake made from pleather. They’re all the rage down your local market. It’s something vegans regularly resort to. Is it that hard to understand?
What is it about that purse that brings all the “it’s pleather so shut up!” people out of the woodwork?
Maybe the fact that it’s pleather
If she is going to take some moral high ground on not using animal products, then uses something that looks like an animal product, what’s the difference? She is still supporting the look of leather as something fashionable even though she says it’s wrong.
And how is everyone so sure that it’s pleather?
No I think Deceiver pretty much proved it wasn’t in the June post. Once again I say its leather. YOU have to prove it isn’t.
And I once dated a girl who swears her brother was part operator of the Snuffleupagus. True story.
Isn’t pleather a form of plastic or has a plastic base?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleather
Anyone know what plastic is made of?
Answer: petrochemical or a fiber we call polyester
Petrochemical is that black thick liquid they pump out of the ground that is so evil and is killing the environment for the precious, innocent animals. So when PETA says pleather is good they mean it’s okay to help destroy the environment and kill animals slowly
Wait, hold the presees!!
Pasta, you dated a girl?!!
Prada doesn’t make pleather products and I’m not sure if buying a fake is any better…doesn’t the counterfeiting business benefit child labor and terrorism?
Maybe she got it as a gift
.
Dated, paid, whats the difference?
Dated, CHAINED DOWN, whats the difference?
FIXED!
Shaujnai: Please see Pasta’s earlier comment. YOU must prove to us that it’s fake. Contrary to popular belief, repeating something enough times does not make it true. Neither does finishing your sentences with “owned.”
Sorry, guys, but “OWNED” is the trump card. Shaujnai has provided the definitive proof of his or her assertion.
