And she is taking the appropriate action:
“Tara Reid has checked herself into Promises Treatment Center. We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” said the actress’s rep Jack Ketsoyan. No additional information was given regarding what Tara was being treated for.
“Her friends and family are supportive of her decision. She checked in herself – it was her decision,” said a friend.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess it’s for alcohol. Although not that long ago, Ms. Reid was all about how it was the media’s fault everyone thinks she’s a drunk:
“I don’t like going out every single night,” she tells OK!. “I like to hang with friends and eat and sit next to a fire — that to me is the best night.”…
“If I have a drink in my hand, it doesn’t make me an alcoholic. If I want a glass of wine, I want a glass of wine. I shouldn’t be afraid of it because of what the media might say. Anything you do, you’re screwed. That’s the lesson I’ve learned.”
You have to wonder if it took her this long to check into rehab because she didn’t want to admit the media was kinda sorta right.

Doesn’t mean you can’t drink at home.

Not for most people, no. It’s just when every photograph shows you with a drink in hand or falling over drunk, people are going to make assumptions that are likely true.
What I really do wonder is not that it took so long, but that she’s lived long enough to get to the point where she realizes she has a problem.
If I didn’t know better, I would say Tara was just deep in her disease. All that noise was denial. Yet, I do know better and there are not so blind items out there that say Tara went into rehab, not to get sober but to jump start her career when she gets out. I hope that isn’t the case because that would make me massive cynic. Oh, wait, I am.
Well this makes me very sad. I was really hoping to party with Ms. Tara one day while she was in full blown over the top mode. I bet she was FUUUN at party!!!!
Right on D. Right after she checks out of detox let’s throw a party and invite her and we’ll get her to retox. You have to clean up after her though.
Yeah Pasta, she might even show you her mangled boob job….shudder…..
Detoxed or not there is always a party in her pants with the herpes, crabs and all…..

“I like to hang with friends and eat and sit next to a fire — that to me is the best night.” So long as the fire is within two steps of the bar.
“If I have a drink in my hand, it doesn’t make me an alcoholic.” True, its the drinks in your system that count.
“If I want a glass of wine, I want a glass of wine.” However, that glass of wine should not followed by the entire contents of the wine cellar.
“I shouldn’t be afraid of it because of what the media might say. Anything you do, you’re screwed. That’s the lesson I’ve learned.” Uh, not yet apparently.
Although the average knee takes on some interesting shapes from straight to bent, I think she needs to have her left knee looked at while she’s there.

Tara Reid zieht sich auch immer noch selten komplett aus, und mir kommt es so vor, dass sie noch leider nicht ganz frei ist. Aber es ist ausgezeichnet und menschlich, keine Scham zu haben! Warum hat sie so wenige Geschlechtspartner? warum hat sie immer noch wenige maennl. Partner? Es ist doch auch so menschlich, sehr, sehr viele Partner zu haben! Liebt sie alle, die gut und attraktiv für sie sind? Wenn es nicht so ist, warum sind alle, die gut sind, unattraktiv z. B., für sie? Das alles weiss ich nicht. Tut eigentlich echt leid.
