Jennifer Aniston Wants Role on TV Show She’s Never Seen

This is minor but personal. Jennifer Aniston is in everything right now — Marley & Me, He’s Just Not That Into You, 30 Rock — and now she wants to muck up one of my favorite shows, Mad Men:

“I like Mad Men. I would love to be in that. It is such a good show, it’s great. I love the 50’s era.

“I would love it if they offered me a role.”

I’m sure she’d love to be offered any role if it lets her continue to milk the whole Love Bermuda Triangle for publicity.

But anyway, if she’d ever seen the show, she’d know it doesn’t take place in the 1950s. The first season is set in 1960, the second is in 1962. Had she even bothered to Wikipedia it instead of tuning in, she would have known as much.

Methinks Jennifer Aniston sometimes just looks at the pretty pictures and doesn’t pay attention to the words.

And a delicious little twist: The bloggers at AMC are not dismissing the idea out of hand, as long as she plays the first woman in history that Don Draper rejects. Ha.
