Just in Case the Obamas Decide to Play Nice With PETA…

Apparently, there was a silver lining in the Bernard Madoff ponzi-scheme scandal. PETA lost out on a chance to prosyletize to America’s new First Family when some Madoff-related inauguration tickets disappeared into the ether after PETA had won them on eBay.

But I wouldn’t put it past PETA to start claiming the Obamas have hopped on the Soul Train to tofu-town anyway. Those animal-rights sprout lickers are just that crafty. And opportunistic. And full of it.

Lucky for our collective sanity, then, that Michelle Obama went on The View on June 18 of last year and uttered those three immortal words: “We’re bacon people.”

Time for a dance remix? Definitely. Hope and change, y’all.
