Thanks for the reminder about Ashley Judd’s ill-informed campaign against caribou preservation in Alaska, Shane! Since you bring it up, it sounds like another state is having a similar problem with their wolves:
Idaho Fish and Game officials say the state’s wolf population is moving south and getting into trouble.
Fish and Game Director Cal Groen told the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee that Idaho’s estimated 824 wolves are impacting the state’s deer and elk population.
He says big game populations are decreasing by as much as 15 percent a year. Without the wolves, Idaho’s deer and elk herds would be increasing 7 percent a year.
Groen says the wolf packs have become overcrowded and wolves have begun to kill each other.

Federal Endangered Species Act protections were nearly lifted from the predators in the northern Rocky Mountains in January; the decision is currently under review by President Barack Obama’s administration.
State officials say Idaho needs to be able to manage the wolf population through hunting to protect the state’s big game animals.
Let’s hope Obama protects those innocent wolves from us mean ol’ humans… so they can kill each other instead.

Most of the comments left here seem to be short and witty rather than long, drawn-out conservative manifestos. While many of the most vocal seem to fall on the conservative side, what unites us is the ability to laugh at ourselves and others, plus we all enjoy a well delivered snark.
I know that I’m not the only one here who appreciates a reasoned argument that forces one to rethink their parameters.
The only people who get shouted at are those who barge in loudly with a chip on their shoulder or those who can’t seem to reason in a straight line. You however, sound like you could hold up your own end of a debate.

Agreed. One of the things I love about this site is, even if we don’t always see eye to eye, almost everyone uses correct grammar, punctuation and doesn’t abbreviate every freakin lol wrd. Umm…am I the only one not having a problem with putting this nutjob’s email address up for all to see? I’m pretty sure he sent the email in the hopes that it would get published. I mean what else could be his motivation? To hurt their feelings? He could have commented at any point on any thread and communicated his feelings the way the rest of us do. But he chose to send hate mail instead. Well, more like mildly irritating mail but that’s beside the point. Doesn’t he sort of forfeit his rights at that point? I’m assuming no one was holding a gun to his head; he didn’t have to disclose his private info. Just sayin’.

I won’t debate on the legitimacy or non-legitimacy of the posts claiming Sarah for a hypocrite, but I will defend my position. I never said there are no conservative hypocrites and certainly didn’t mean to imply it. But it is true that most of the people who keep getting on Deceiver are liberals, which is resulting in Deceiver being labeled “conservative.”
I don’t have a problem with liberals; I have lots of liberal friends and it doesn’t make any difference in our relationships. I do have a problem with them when they have a problem with me, and I don’t think it’s my political affiliation that has me seeing more liberals than conservatives saying one thing and doing another. Like I said before, I am eager to be corrected; find conserative deceivers and put them up.
