It’s 7am in Hollywood, and that can only mean one thing: I declare DECEIVER MADNESS officially open!
On Friday, the King of Saudi Arabia handily defeated New York City’s Mayor by a decent margin. So while Hizzoner Bloomberg licks his trans-fatty wounds, King Abdullah the Tolerant will await his first-round matchup with Al Gore. (Watch for that head-to-head poll on Wednesday.)
Our very first Round 1 tip-off pits Lindsay Lohan against Jennifer Love Hewitt — a matchup of a notorious seventh-seeded bad girl and a ten-seed beach ball.
The rehabbed Li-Lo made headline after headline after headline last year, but not one was about her acting ability. She protested that was clearly not a lesbian (riiiight…). She added a 13th step to AA (“We gave up and got toasted.”). She even made an anti-drunk-driving PSA. (Oops.)
On the other side of the ledger, the “Party of Five” star Hewitt became a poster child for celebrities with body issues. She first fired back at critics who scrutinized her weight gain, then lost several dress sizes and was suddenly fine with the attention. (Imagine that.) Along the way, Jennifer Love Hewitt became better known in Hollywood as “Jennifer Love-Handles” from “Party of Thighs.”

I feel some level of sympathy for Hewitt over the tabloid picture thing, but none for attention-starved people like Lindsay Lohan, so I voted Lohan.
JLH does nothing compared to the has been of Lindsay Lohan. LL wins this one, hands down! Rehab, round 4 coming up.

Lohan – but only because, much like Jrod, when it comes to JLH, I’d still totally hit it.
I voted for JLH because, while Lohan is indeed a train wreck, JLH seems to have her stuff together and it would have been nice to see her not cave into pressure.
I voted for Linds, being a LI girl and all, but I’d nominate the whole Lohan family. They’re all nuts!

Lindsay’s just a trainwreck. I don’t really hold her accountable for being crazy. Being guilty by reason of insanity isn’t enough to make you Deceiver of the Year. JLove doesn’t have an easy excuse for her actions/released statements.
I had to go with Lohan because first she says that she is not gay. (Who cares either way) But now she is even attending temple with her “not” girlfriend.
I vote for Lindsay out of pity: her career is in such a shambles that ANY publicity is good for her at this point.

I think Lindsay’s little anti-drunk driving stunt wins the hypocrite battle here. So I’ll vote for her.
Lindsay + drinking and driving + telling us NOT to drink and drive = bad and potentially deadly for other drivers who have the misfortune to live around her.
JLove + telling us there’s no need to lose weight + losing weight = just annoying.

J.Love’s weight issue isn’t really hypocritical, to me; it’s more a defensive response to criticism. LiLo, however, is a hypocrite down to her pedicured toes.

My vote goes to Lohan. She clearly has no regard for her career or for the impact her unprofessional behavior has on those who are willing to work hard on the set. She hasn’t even done anything of note in years except make bad press for herself.

I voted for Jennifer Love Hewitt. JLH and LL are equally irritating and talentless, and their “music” (and acting?) “careers” were equally short-lived and laughable, but Lindsay has taken so many drugs over the course of years she can’t be held responsible for her actions. Sort of falls into “forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing” category. Whereas the other one could have known better…right? Well, may be not, but that “size 2″ comment sealed her fate.

Oh, Lindsay, for sure. If Jennifer wants to bleat on and on about her body, and if she wants to gain and lose and wear Spanx and whatever, ultimately she is just hurting herself…nobody else. But Lilo’s actions concerning her drug/alcohol use have the potential to hurt others.
