This one could be a battle for the ages. Two wanna-be celebrities who thought they were improving their street-cred by embracing the whole PETA anti-fur thing and [in Beard's case -ed] posing naked for it. Both wound up looking like a vegetarian at the National Rib Burn-Off. Which is to say, pretty stupid.
First there’s Leona Lewis: This songstress may have been voted PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian, but she just can’t live without her feathered Prada bag.
And then we have Amanda Beard: The Olympian-cum-PETA-spokeschick got shamed big time when we dug up lots of evidence of her wearing leather and shearling. Even her hometown newspaper called her on it.
So which brainless, naked dolt did more damage to her career by pretending to be in love with the PETA philosophy? Which one’s non-vegan fashion makes for a better story? You tell us. The winner could wind up facing off against the tofu mother-ship (PETA itself!) in the next round.

Two people that are so blah but with a competitive swimmer in the family, Beard gets my vote.
I went with Amanda Beard. Both hypocrites here made the same sin (PeTA & Leathery Goodies) but Amanda got a respectable platform to preach from as an Olympian. This is why she gets my vote.
Beard. Why do I hold Olympians to a higher standard? Not sure, but I find her activism even more offensive.
I don’t remember anything about Leona, so… Amanda.
Blatant hypocrisy that comes across so high-and-mighty that I want to reach into the PETA ad and punch that Amanda right in the kisser.

You usually have to do something pretty bad for your hometown newspaper to dirty you up a little. Glad to see being one of PETA’s hypocrites finally counts towards that.

I’m not too familiar with either of them, but Beard seems worse 1) because of the Olympic thing 2) because of getting called by her newspaper, too. It seems like a lot of these PeTArds have some article of clothing non-PeTA-approved, so Lewis just seems in line with the rest of them and not really an impressive specimen.
I went with Amanda Beard just for the Deceiver.com mention.

the whole “Vegatarian of the Year” thing was given to Lewis, so her actions going against that point more to PeTA’s hypocrisy than her own. Beard gets my vote.
Manface Beard. She’s been annoying since she was a pre-teen. Plus, she’s from Plant City, which should earn her an automatic win.

I went with Lewis on this one becuase every time I saw an article with her name mentioned, it also mentioned her alignment with Peta.

hahaha “street cred”. deceiver must have made a typo. maybe douche cred would have worked, PETA is the opposite of street cred. getting church’s chicken and drinking OE 800 on the corner will get you street cred…. joining PETA, not so much.

Yeah, I agree with Minnow… she’s definitely got something more than carrots going in. Also, she drapped herself in dead animal, Lewis just carried it (that was the best joke I could come up with.)

Beard. Sure she’d rather go naked than wear fur but she’d also go naked for cash and a magazine spread, to promote the Olympic swimming team ostensibly.
Don’t know much about Leona, so being a former swimmer I had to go with Amanda because she dissed my boy MP.

There is something off about Amanda Beard, and she sets off my infamously accurate gaydar. Maybe facial symmetry, not sure, but there is a tranny thing going on here.

I voted for Leona Lewis. Amanda Beard wasn’t caught wearing fur, was caught wearing leather/ sheepskin. She never promised not to wear those. I know, they are still animal products, so what she did was still lame and hypocritical, but not as bad as Leona Lewis, being a hardcore vegan (which implies that she supposedly steers clear of ALL animal products) and spotting a leather bag. With feathers.
Beard……because Lewis is a packaged deal. Meaning that she has “people” telling her what to do. Whereas Beard should be smart enough to know that once you are in the public eye get ready to be under a microscope.
Leona, on the basis of I don’t like her singing.
