Unlike with our Stars & Starlets, the top seeds in the “Activists” bracket are performing precisely as predicted. No surprises here.
Where are the upsets? The drama? The stuff Deceiver Madness addicts live for?
We want slugfests, we want intrigue, we want nail-biters. We want the underdogs to win big.
In the end, we suppose some things are just fated to go together. Like salt & pepper. Or peanut butter & jelly. Add to that list PETA & Pam, and Unilever & Unipede.
Amanda Beard continued to prove that just because you make it to the games doesn’t mean you’ll come home with gold. She was bested by the unstoppable PETA juggernaut that landed her on Deceiver.com in the first place.
Pamela Anderson won handily over the Aussie menace known as Sophie Monk, who was last seen self-medicating with the Colonel’s original recipe.
Unilever’s Dove marketing geniuses staged a late rally to leave pint-size dolphin hugger Hayden Panettiere in the dust. (UPDATE: Unilever won by two votes out of more than 2,600 cast.) They can take this win and put it in their Self-Esteem Fund.
And Heather Mills was the last one standing against the formidable Jenna Jameson, who promises to slurp even more oysters and wear even more leather to shore up her game for next year. We’ve seen her pull off greater feats in the past — like having twin boys and planning to never, ever tell them what Mommy did for a living — so rest assured that she’ll be back.

Did Hayden and Unilever tie? What do we do about that?

This probably belongs on a different thread, but OMG! Too much stupidity, too early in the morning. Almost chocked on my coffee when I read this.
Hee!
In other news, Madonna and Gwynnie are starting their own “Be Yourself: The Secret to Natural, No-Fuss Beauty and Humility” camp.
It’s be interesting if the mods could figure out from IP logging if I was the tie-MAKER!
No tie. Unilever squeaked it out by just 2 votes, which was too close for WordPress’s polling software to call by strict percentages.
Dammit! So much for me throwing a monkey into the wrench. . .
