Perez Hilton Sticks to His Guns (and to Everything Else He Touches)

The calorically-encumbered bumblef*** has never been known for a high degree of self-awareness, but this one is moronic even by his standards. He’s deeply concerned about a tattoo Rihanna just got:

rihannasgun

Do you know what you do when you’re young and you have too much money? You fly your favorite tattoo artist out to tat up your friend, and then you get some dumb tattoos of your own! According to Life & Style, Rihanna flew artist BangBang out from New York last week. A “big advocate of guns” (in case the name didn’t give it away), BangBang tells the mag he suggested a tattoo of a firearm after RiRi rejected several other sketches. They toyed with the idea of placing the tattoo on her shoulders but eventually decided against it considering RiRi’s Cover Girl status. So the violent image ended up under her ribs.

Oh no, a violent image! Kinda like this one, from his dumb store:

waytogofatso

When he heard that everybody thinks he’s oozy, he thought they said an Uzi. If you want one of these fine shirts, they come in 5 sizes: S, L, XL, XXL, and Perez.

Do you know what you do when you’re fat and you have too much money?

A gun is a violent image? I would say his ganster glorifying merchandise screams “Violence” more than a simple image of a gun. Perez is such an idiot, douche, and yes… twatwaffle.

  2. 2 Beige Mar 27th, 2009 at 9:22 am

Yoicks. I’m busily crafting a shrine to Chronic, over here.

  3. 3 Elle Mar 27th, 2009 at 9:43 am

Guns don’t kill people. Tattoos of guns on dubiously talented R&B stars kill people.

  4. 4 Chronic Malanga Mar 27th, 2009 at 11:10 am

Beige, if you are building a shrine, please include otters. ;)

Gun tattoos huh? I bet those are empowering. She seems remarkably brilliant for a 20 year old celebrity.

Yeah, I guess if you’re going to settle in for the long-haul with someone who beats you–and correct me if I’m misinformed on that–it’s nice to have at least a pretend weapon. So you can aim your ribcage at him and mewl, “paKEW, paKEW”, before hitting the pavement one more time.

I wonder how long before the sweeling of broken ribs make it look like an AK.

  9. 9 Chronic Malanga Mar 27th, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Swelling. I don’t know what sweeling actually is.

Beige, I was going to say the same thing. “Better not lay a hand on me, or my tat’s gonna fill you up with gats!”

I still don’t get the appeal of all this gun imagery. Every little Hot Topic bopper for the last 5 years has been covered in it. Shit is gettin’ old, and I’m saying this as a handgun owner.

Beige, last report is that they are on a “break” from each other. I would like to point out that she originally wanted these on her actual “guns” (Arms) but because of her obligation to Cover Girl, she decided to get a hidden tattoo. Yep, I agree with Perez – a young girl with lots of money, a lot of time and idiot friends who let her do this.

I’m sorry but I agree with Perez , Rihanna is making one stupid mistake after the other.Plus Rihanna and Perez are completely different , Rihannas took back her abusive boyfriend ,she use to be a “Role model “for girls and has a couple of big contracts based on her image .Perez is known for being a sleazy attention whoring gossip blogger.

QB; you make me sad for the world. the douchenoozle known as perez, is far more hypocritical than rihanna will ever be.

  15. 15 Anni Mar 28th, 2009 at 12:27 am

    QB –

Her actions are independent of his, so the way he acts should not reflect on your opinion of her. Him being a “good” person or whatever you think he is does not make her a bad one.

Plus, I’m pretty sure all of us here can look at Rihanna without going, “Getting beat up looks fun! I’m going to get involved with an abusive boy/girlfriend RIGHT NOW because she was my ROLE MODEL.”

I too have read somewhere that they have broken up and she is now single. She was seen shopping for a new home…were they living together? I didn’t know…Anyway, if the rumours that she left him are true, her erratic behaviour would make sense. The victims of abuse are at their most vulnerable when they leave the realtionship (a lot more vulnerable than when they are staying in it, actually). Both emotionally and safety-wise.

Perez – the only Hilton less talented than Paris.

“Do you know what you do when you’re fat and you have too much money?” LOLLLL! you know what sucks simon? is that he shouldn’t have that much money. i enjoyed reading his site when he first started out, but then it got to be too much when he had his own show on VH1 for a while, his clothing line, etc etc. and why is rihanna packing heat now? at a time like this? really? -shakes head-

  19. 19 QB Mar 28th, 2009 at 6:04 pm

Anagram and Anni , You should read again my post because I never said that he was a good person. My point was that Perez already has reputation for being a hypocrite but I still agree with Perez , it is a dumb tatto and a gun is an image that represent violent. My opinion of Rihanna has nothing to do with what perez says .

  20. 20 Kristine Mar 28th, 2009 at 6:24 pm

It makes perfect sense to me that she did that… now that she’s shot her career to pieces, she can sell tickets to the gun show. What doesn’t make sense is anyone buying that stupid (and hypocritical) shirt.

  21. 21 Anni Mar 29th, 2009 at 3:05 am

    QB –

I also never said that having a gun tattoo on your arm was a good idea, but if I were to get one myself, I’d get one of something equally ridiculous and can’t (at least on this website) ridicule her for that.

I’d probably be just like that woman on Digg pictured for having that open-source thing tattooed on her arm. It’d be equally nerdy.

  22. 22 Patrick of Atlantis Apr 1st, 2009 at 10:34 am

I was watching wrestling one night and there was a woman at ringside causing a stir. The commentator (I think it may have been Jesse Ventura) said “women are like elephants; they’re interesting to look at, but I don’t think I’d want to own one.” That’s how I feel about tatoos, but if I ever got one it would be of a woman and an elephant.
