Khloe Kardashian Throws Down With Donald Trump

Luxury LoungeGranted, I haven’t watched The Apprentice since college, but my understanding is that the show has been taken over by such notable “celebrities” as Dennis Rodman, Tom Green, Scott Hamilton, and Joan Rivers. (Has-beens all, except arguably for Joan Rivers who is still kind of awesome.) And they’re playing for charity, so that’s nice.

Until recently, the cast also included Khloe Kardashian, who has earned an exclusive spot in the Deceiver Hall of Fame for her various PETA shenanigans and public drunkenness.

The latter is the reason The Donald booted Khloe off the show, and she’s none too happy about it:

Trump found out Kardashian had missed part of a previous challenge because she had to go to a mandatory class regarding her 2007 DUI conviction. He lectured her on drinking and driving and fired her over the DUI. “I hate people who drive under the influence,” Trump said in the boardroom as he fired Kardashian.

In a blog post yesterday, Kardashian spoke out against Trump. “It wasn’t because of my work ethic, it wasn’t because I was slacking. It was because of my DUI. I don’t think I should have been fired for that reason alone. I just wish Mr. Trump would have handled the situation a little differently,” she wrote.

“I find it weird that he can forgive and take back Tara Conner but he can’t do the same with me?!” she said of Trump’s decision to let Conner, Miss USA 2006, retain her crown after she engaged in underage drinking and cocaine use.

I hate to admit it, but girl’s got a point. Trump extended more than a little bit of compassion Tara Conner’s way after she was busted for drug abuse and promiscuity. But then again, Trump historically has a soft spot for blondes with questionable judgment, so I guess that’s just in character.

How about the fact that he manufactures Trump Vodka, despite being a teetotaller, because, as he loves to tell people, he lost his brother to alcoholism. Who’s the hypocrite?

  2. 2 Queen Bee Apr 20th, 2009 at 5:45 pm

Miss USA makes him money. Khloe? Not so much. So, he can have “principles.”

  3. 3 Pastafarian Apr 20th, 2009 at 5:48 pm

He has soft spot for blondes with questionable judgement? Hey who doesn’t.

  4. 4 JasonM Apr 20th, 2009 at 5:52 pm

Trump is the weakest part of that show by far.

The UK Apprentice is good stuff. Sir Alan Sugar is the man.

  5. 5 TheIrish Apr 20th, 2009 at 6:22 pm

So Trump is a hypocrite, that’s not too big of a stretch.

Yet somehow, I feel like by calling out someone on being a hypocrite, Khloe has in some way solidified her status. Krazy maybe?

This is another one of those situations in which being trapped in an elevator with EITHER of the people involved would have me sawing away at my own carotid arteries with my car keys inside five minutes.

Put ‘em in a teensy cage together, let ‘em tear each other apart. Make the world a better place.

If anything, Irish, it proves she’s aware of the concept that if you say one thing and do another, people tend to think less of you. It’s a start.

I think firing her for *that* was a chump move. She actually came across as relatively normal.

  9. 9 Vagrant Dog Apr 20th, 2009 at 10:44 pm

I don’t know… something tells me that this whole thing had less to do with Trump having a soft spot for blondes and more to do with him just not liking Khloe. I mean, who does?

The thing that bothers me about this is that there’s no way he hadn’t already heard about her DUI by now. I hate it when they bring people on just to make obvious drama.

  11. 11 Chronic Malanga Apr 21st, 2009 at 4:47 am

Khloe is a hypocrite, and we know that already. However, I have to give her credit for saying something truthful and intelligent this time. I also think that Ducky has a valid point in saying that Donald had to know about the DUI from the start. Didn’t we all know?

I think if she would have had some +2 implants it would have changed Trump’s decision. I know it would change my impression of her

  13. 13 Habanada Apr 21st, 2009 at 10:18 am

    Let’s be fair.

Wouldn’t YOU fire Khloe Kardashian for ANY reason you could find? And then take out a restraining order on her unnatural butt? (Like, literally, just the butt. “The Kardashian butt cannot get within 250 feet of my domicile.”)

  14. 14 TrojanPrincess Apr 21st, 2009 at 11:12 am

Wow, first Kim calls out OctoMom and now Khloe brings a good case against Trump. What’s with these Kardashians? Are they fans of Deceiver, and on the hunt for hypocrites? I really don’t like either of those girls, but I have to admit that they’re right on in these last two stories.

I do not miss an episode of “Celebrity Apprentice” just cause I love to see Joan Rivers rip everyone a new one. I think that Khloe should have been booted because of her work ethic. She was lazy and whining. I don’t agree with how he fired her, but man she needed to go. She should have been fired that day for just being stupid.

  16. 16 Beige Apr 21st, 2009 at 12:26 pm

DUI or no, I would have fired her for looking like a libidinous dancing potato in that photo above.

  17. 17 Patrick of Atlantis Apr 21st, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Khardashian should have claimed that the DUI charge was “Trumped” up.

  18. 18 Pastafarian Apr 21st, 2009 at 1:06 pm

She should change her name to Gigantor. Look at how huge she is compared to the photographers around her.

  19. 19 QB Apr 21st, 2009 at 2:12 pm

She is not that big , she is aroun 5′8 the people around her are super short.

  20. 20 snapnhiss Apr 21st, 2009 at 10:24 pm

She’s on an elevated catwalk, ya knuckleheads!

  21. 21 Chronic Malanga Apr 22nd, 2009 at 5:17 am

TP, it kind of scares me that I have agreed with two Kardashians in the space of a week. This may be proof that the internet rots your brain, or that their occasional displays of rudimentary intelligence mean that the end is nigh.

  22. 22 Pastafarian Apr 22nd, 2009 at 8:26 am

    Guys…

  23. 23 Beige Apr 22nd, 2009 at 8:40 am

She still looks like a dancing potato. Why hasn’t Wendy’s offered her an endorsement deal? Because you KNOW she eats there.

  24. 24 JasonM Apr 22nd, 2009 at 2:57 pm

Actually, she did well on the CA task that she managed.

It was definitely a bitch move to fire her for the DUI thing, especially after he puts up with Dennis Rodman for too long, and is so obviously never gonna fire Joan Rivers.

  25. 25 MC Mom Apr 22nd, 2009 at 3:43 pm

Not a high-class move on Trump’s part, but no one’s surprised that the Donald isn’t a high-class guy, right?

On a sort of related topic, what is up with young Hollywood and DUIs? They can’t afford to hire limos or something? Or is that just so East Coast?

  28. 28 Patrick of Atlantis Apr 24th, 2009 at 1:43 pm

Wait a minute. Some commentator wrote the Trump owns the Miss USA Pageant, which means that Trump hired that load in the pants Perez Hilton to be a judge of said pageant. Trump fires that voluptuous girl and hires that creature of the dark webhole. What’s wrong with that scene?
