Perez Hilton Accused Michael Jackson of Faking It

mj_perez

So you’ve likely heard that Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital this afternoon in cardiac arrest. Paramedics had to perform CPR and his family is around him, preparing for the worst.

Speaking of the worst, Perez “Class Act” Hilton took the opportunity to draw the attention to himself on Twitter:

OMG! It’s not looking good for Michael Jackson. Wow. Wow. OMG! No. No. No. That’s so awful. Let’s send him positive vibes! Pull through, MJ!
30 minutes ago from web

Somebody give him his smelling salts and bring him back to reality. For months Perez has been taking potshots at the King of Pop’s health, proclaiming “no one does creepy like Michael Jackson” and asking whether he was “sick in the head or just sick” after a doctor’s visit in February.

The most despicable post, however? Just weeks ago, Perez accused Michael of faking his health problems to get out of his summer tour, sneering:

“Sounds like a set-up to us!”

Give me an effing break, Guy Whose Whole Career Is A Publicity Stunt.

UPDATE: TMZ is now reporting that Michael Jackson has died. RIP.

UPDATE 2: This is what I was looking for but couldn’t find before. The original post on PerezHilton.com regarding MJ’s condition:

“We knew something like this would happen!!
Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance from his Holmby Hills home to a nearby Los Angeles hospital on Thursday afternoon!! Supposedly, the singer went into cardiac arrest and the paramedics had to administer CPR!!!
His mother is even on the way to visit him!!!

We are dubious!!

Jacko pulled a similar stunt when he was getting ready for his big HBO special in ‘95 when he “collapsed” at rehearsal! He was dragging his heels on that just like his upcoming 50 date London residency at the 02 Arena, of which he already postponed the first few dates!!! Either he’s lying or making himself sick, but we’re curious to see if he’s able to go on!!! Get your money back, ticket holders!!!!”

Wow. Wow. OMG.

You know, I am not a fan of Michael Jackson…..and AP HAS confirmed that he has passed away…….but I hate Perez Hilton with every fiber of my being. He is the most hateful, rude, annoying, idiotic human being that has ever walked the face of the earth.

  2. 2 TheIrish Jun 25th, 2009 at 7:15 pm

Since “positive vibes” are an extremely foreign concept to Perez (and probably hurt him on some sort of metaphysical level) I think he was actually trying to bring even more harm upon him…

Quite possibly, Perez Hilton murdered Michael Jackson.

  3. 3 chrocs Jun 25th, 2009 at 7:16 pm

I almost long for the days when celebrities were able to put fear on douche bags like this being. When can you get a dead horse’s head to put in this guy’s bed? Guess peta has monopolized them.

    RIP Michael… and Farrah.

  4. 4 Beige Jun 25th, 2009 at 7:43 pm

What Koka said, times infinity. Why couldn’t it have been Hilton who assumed room temp?

  5. 5 Queen Bee Jun 25th, 2009 at 7:46 pm

Supposedly from an earlier Perez Hilton post: “We knew something like this would happen!!

His mother is even on the way to visit him!!!

Ed McMahon. Farrah Fawcett. Michael Jackson.

It’s been a bad bad week for Hollywood…and it’s only Thursday.

  7. 7 weyer Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:15 pm

The difference between Jackson and Hilton is that Jackson had a fall from grace, whereas Hilton started low and has been digging ever since.

  8. 8 Kristine Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:22 pm

And people say it’s not true that celebrities die in threes… couldn’t you hear the hushed sigh of relief coming from Hollywood?

  9. 9 Kristine Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:22 pm

Oh, and weyer, that was genius.

  10. 10 Pastafarian Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:33 pm

It’s too bad that someone that was just 50 died. Too young.

  11. 11 Jannah Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:42 pm

Sigh, Mr. Death is very busy this month. Don’t forget about Carradine recently too.

Between the punches and these comments, perhaps Perez will soon talk himself into oblivion, if we are lucky. If MJ’s fans get a wiff of his nasty comments, he’s probably done for. Please Lord, let it be.

  12. 12 TheSkyver Jun 25th, 2009 at 8:53 pm

Thought you guys would want to see what Perez Hilton said about MJ going into Cardiac Arrest.

” “We knew something like this would happen!!

  13. 13 Holly Won't Jun 25th, 2009 at 9:43 pm

Bingo, thanks TheSkyver. I got a text about that post earlier but couldn’t confirm it. Perez took his site down for about an hour this afternoon, presumably to pull a John Edwards and expunge that post from the Internet. I’m glad someone captured it for posterity.

  14. 14 Helmet Head Jun 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm

You should write a post about how The Matthew Shepard Foundation doesn’t want any money from Perez Hilton now. Check out The Advocate or Gawker to read more about it.

  15. 15 Toubrouk Jun 25th, 2009 at 10:02 pm

Twice this week, Perez Hilton missed a good opportunity to shut-up. That little bitch is not learning the lesson.

  16. 16 Beige Jun 25th, 2009 at 10:13 pm

Uch, and that absurd fartbag Al Sharpton has jammed his pouchy face into the cameras as the Jackson family spokesman. I swear, if the Keebler fargin’ elves were two shades duskier, he’d appoint himself their rep too. Ass.

  17. 17 Koka Jun 25th, 2009 at 10:22 pm

“That little bitch is not learning the lesson.”

Toubrouk…no one can fix stupid. PH will *never* learn, not even if it was written in Sharpie on a 2×4 and he got hit on the head with it.

Oh, for the days when men were men and women were dames and celebrities could get even with selfserving morons like Perez.

perez is an asshole, hes a hypocrite son of a bitch

  19. 19 stonegrigio Jun 25th, 2009 at 10:40 pm

Perez, take note of the worldwide coverage of Michael Jackson’s death. It’s because he was a relevant individual, the opposite of a flea like you.

  22. 22 Isabella Jun 26th, 2009 at 12:16 am

I have always sort of turned a blind eye when it comes to the horrible things Perez says, but this is just too much. Since Michael Jackson has died (Rest in Peace), Perez has shown absolutely no sympathy or remorse for the horrible things he has said about Jackson. I can’t blame him for making fun of him in the past, because it is a horrible thing that I’m sure everyone has done once since his surgeries. But the fact that even now, while the whole world is literally in mourning, his lack of response to his tragedy makes me dislike Perez. I don’t know what it is about Michael that he hates, because this is similar to when Heath Ledger (Rest in Peace), except after his death Perez, like a coward, started talking about Ledger like they were old friends. This is actually an eye opener, thanks.

  23. 23 Linda Jun 26th, 2009 at 1:45 am

What an obnoxious, heartless human being! He needs to get banned from the internet.

  24. 24 Pinandpuller Jun 26th, 2009 at 2:41 am

MJ should have lived to serve 30 years in jail with Phil Spector.

PH is a sad man. Gay indeed…

  26. 26 angry army wife Jun 26th, 2009 at 8:09 am

Perez has no heart. He thrives off of others less fortune. I applaud the Black Eyed Peas Manager for doing what so many of us have wanted to do.

Rest in peace to Farah, Michael and Ed. I remember spending the night at my friends house because she had cable just so we could watch the premier video of “Thriller”. So many memories of him, both good and bad. Now is not the time to pass judgement.

  27. 27 Beige Jun 26th, 2009 at 8:25 am

I was happy to see that GLAAD is giving PH the cold shoulder. None of the gay folks I know can speak of Hilton without shuddering and making retching sounds. Some things, we can ALL agree upon.

  28. 28 Carpe Jugulum in Melbourne Australia Jun 26th, 2009 at 8:53 am

Perez, just a low class rent boy, media whore with the credibility of a 3 legged midget luchadore. 14 hours flying time & i could bearch slap the fat f##k.

  29. 29 LN Jun 26th, 2009 at 9:06 am

I am sad for MJ’s family. I am sure this is a difficult time for his kids. Perez Hilton is a twit. I have no idea how he gets his information, but I would love for all his “informants” to stop giving him information.

I will question this time and time again. Look at the picture shown of PH and tell me who thought this human, and I use this term lightly, could judge a beauty contest? His outfit, including his hair, is awful. If one is judging, one should be ready to be judged.

  30. 30 Eve Jun 26th, 2009 at 9:17 am

I don’t get it. Do people still ascribe to that old superstition about not speaking ill of the dead? MJ was a head case, yes, but still, he was a longtime pedophile who used his celebrity and wealth to dodge punishment and lure more victims. Doesn’t that trump having some catchy songs in the 80s? Or is there nothing stronger than American nostalgia? I mean, when O.J. Simpson dies, will everybody say, “Aw, what a great running back. Let’s go rent Naked Gun and weep”?

  31. 31 Beige Jun 26th, 2009 at 9:24 am

Eve, that’s a good point. James Lileks wrote a pretty good Bleat about this very thing. Jackson was someone who died long after he’d become a horrendous parody of himself. As you’d expect, people are comparing him to Elvis, who did pretty much the same thing (and who, by some accounts, was also a pedophile, but never mind).

I’m saving my sympathy for his kids, who really, really need every ounce of help they can get.

  32. 32 Redhead Jun 26th, 2009 at 10:24 am

Could this be the death knell for Perez Hilton’s “career?” Please?????

  33. 33 AARON Jun 26th, 2009 at 11:02 am

Lets start a Unfollow Perez Movement. Unfollow him from twitter, myspace, face book, or what ever other things he has get the word out!!!!!

  34. 34 Jannah Jun 26th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

So true everyone, Eve, and Beige. I can’t even watch one of my fave movies “Capricorn One” anymore because Simpson is in it. How can people so easily overlook MJ’s missteps (holding an infant off of a balcony, ACK!) after all these years? :-p

On a side note, another WW2 Navajo Code Talker Marine has died, and no one will talk about him in the news today I bet. No, he’s just a Native American and a Vet. Boring.

  35. 35 Jolly Green Midget Jun 26th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

Eve, yes that is probably exactly what people will do. I’ll be totally blunt about how I feel about him dying-good riddance. I pitied his kids more when he was alive. If I were in charge, child molestation would get the death penalty and he would have fried ages ago. Hate on me if you wish, but I have no sympathy for people who victimize others because they had it bad themselves.

  36. 36 Jenn Jun 26th, 2009 at 12:46 pm

The Matthew Shepherd Foundation has refused the offer of any money from Hilton’s lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas…
“We very much appreciate the generosity of the offer to support our continuing work to memorialize Matthew through activism in defense of sexual minorities and in favor of understanding, compassion, and acceptance. But because so much of our work involves education to reduce the use of hateful language against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, or those so perceived, it would be inappropriate for us to benefit financially from circumstances in which such a verbal attack was involved.”

Maybe Hilton has finally gone through his 15 minutes?

  37. 37 stonegrigio Jun 26th, 2009 at 1:03 pm

    Pedophile and freako extraordinaire, yes.

Yet who amongst us would bring their kids to Neverland Ranch? For sleepovers? I always had special ire for the parents of those children.

  38. 38 Jolly Green Midget Jun 26th, 2009 at 1:26 pm

Stonegrigio, yes those parents should be stoned. And I don’t mean the fun kind of stoned.

  39. 39 Mack Jun 26th, 2009 at 2:08 pm

I’m very much a nurturing, “let’s play nice” sort of guy, but I’d love to shake the hand of the man who socked the little b-word Perez in the eye.

  40. 40 Michelle Jun 26th, 2009 at 3:46 pm

I used to read Perez Hilton. Religiously, I read his blog. Not because I liked him, but because I didn’t, at the time, realize that there were such things as “gossip” sites, and Perez Hilton’s was easily accessible, on account of his fame-whoring ways. Then I found Dlisted, and through Dlisted, Deceiver, and I’ll tell you, I’ve never looked back.

For one, while I read Perez Hilton, I was highly disgusted by the crap he draws on pictures. Frankly, I’m amazed he hasn’t been sued for outright slander, as he doesn’t seem to only cross the line, but rather dance over it before setting it on fire. If the fat ol’ boy could dance.

But frankly, since when is it ever a good idea to speculate, minutes after a report has been released, whether it is legit or not. The time for speculation is not then, but later, when (in an alternate reality) someone who had a “health scare” shows up out and about the next day, looking in perfect health? Does it not seem prudent to check and see if a person is in the hospital? He has so many reliable sources, I’m sure he could find out the truth. (too bad sarcasm doesn’t transmit over black and white).

I’m not going to pretend to be overcome with sadness over MJ’s death. Frankly, I didn’t know him, I never would have, and despite acquittal, no one knows the answer to the question “did he or didn’t he?”. However, it was shocking: I didn’t expect to see MJ die so young. It was shocking. Not particularly saddening, but shocking.

Eh. Maybe Perez will finally have to chow down on that meaty foot he works so hard to fatten up.

  41. 41 Nati Jun 26th, 2009 at 4:30 pm

“I’ll be totally blunt about how I feel about him dying-good riddance. I pitied his kids more when he was alive.”

Same here. It sickens me how people overlook the fact that MJ was a criminal, and the worst type of a criminal – a child molester. If he hadn’t been who he was and hadn’t had all that money, he would have done some considerable jail time. Knowing that he had children of his own always horrified me. How everyone is now mourning the “passsing of an Icon” (as msn put it yesterday) enrages me. Icon my a$$. I’m not saying I wanted MJ dead – never wished him any harm at all, just wanted him to be brought to justice…but I’m not exactly curled up in a ball right now, mourning his death and all.

  42. 42 alamo Jun 26th, 2009 at 4:30 pm

I think that the wrong person died. It should have been PH’s a**!!!

  43. 43 Tal Jun 26th, 2009 at 7:32 pm

I think Michael Jackson probably was a child molester, and while I don’t condone that one bit, I do feel sorry for him, in a Frodo-pitying-Gollum sort of way. You look at those pictures from when he was a little kid and you think about how he was so talented and had such a messed-up childhood.

  44. 44 dew Jun 26th, 2009 at 8:40 pm

perez is a total douche. he did the same thing when bernie mac was first hospitalized- alluded to him of being a drug-addict. but when bernie mac died he made it seem like he was a big fan. idiot.

  46. 46 Bruce Jun 26th, 2009 at 10:46 pm

    As Jim Treacher put it:

Defame a polite, soft-spoken beauty pageant contestant who holds the same opinion as the President of the United States and most of the voters in her own state: Hero.

Defame a hideously self-deformed pedophile who went insane and died of a self-induced drug overdose: Villain.

    http://jimtreacher.com/

  47. 47 Ducky Jun 27th, 2009 at 3:23 am

I know that on this website, Perez was portrayed as a villain for going after Prejean. As for the pedo thing, as far as I know, there’s only so much proof that anything happened, not that it makes it right.

But if I could see anyone wanting to have a genuine child-like sleepover with children I could definitely see it being someone like Michael Jackson. If he touched a child that’s a tragedy but you can’t ignore that his life was a tragedy also. Why should we condemn people for going insane? Most cases of people going insane aren’t really the person’s fault. Also, officials haven’t figured out what killed him yet, and, once again, if he died of a self-induced drug overdose why does that make him someone who shouldn’t be pitied?

  48. 48 Beige Jun 27th, 2009 at 9:02 am

When someone I pity dies, I don’t sit on a curb wailing and kvetching about how it’s the “end of an era” and how I’ll always remember exactly where I was when he died. I pitied the guy too, but that doesn’t mean I’m now under the impression that the earth has been shaken even slightly in its orbit by his room-temp status.

  49. 49 Ducky Jun 27th, 2009 at 12:25 pm

I’m not saying the earth shook when he died (if you’re referring to me ^_^) The truth is, I didn’t pay any attention to him while he was alive and I haven’t heard much of his music. His death doesn’t mean all that much to me.

I still believe his life was a tragedy but my post wasn’t just made to defend him, it was made to defend anyone who has a tragic life I guess.

  50. 50 Beige Jun 27th, 2009 at 1:02 pm

Actually, Ducky, I wasn’t referring to anyone in particular, and this is from someone who has called people idiots on these boards before, so I’m not being nice. (Don’t know how, really.)

I was referring to all the people who think “This is how I’m supposed to act when someone famous dies, even though I never knew this person and never crossed paths with him or her, BEW HEW, this is historic, this is epic, BEW HEW.”

Dude grabbed his crotch–and reportedly a lot of other crotches. Dude yipped and warbled and moonwalked. Dude had the worst case of racial/gender dysmorphic disorder anyone ever saw, EVER. Dude was on everything but skates, there at the end. Then he died.

I’m sorry he’s dead and all, but he left what are likely to be three cataclysmically screwed-up kids behind, and he left them what, $500 million in debt? (In that respect, he’s a lot like the President, but that’s another thread.) That’s his legacy. That, and a whole lot of very dated music whose remarkable characteristic was that the guy who recorded it weighed less than a subwoofer. Huz. Zah.

  51. 51 BB Jun 27th, 2009 at 2:08 pm

Beige – couldn’t agree with you more. I am the same age as MJ, so I only technically grew up with him. He was very popular in the 70’s & 80’s, but his life overshadowed his career. Yes, his music was good, great for it’s time, but that doesn’t mean we have to canonize him for it. Just because you sing and dance well does not make you a great human being. I work in theater, so I know.

He didn’t need to make his strange life public. He wanted to appear strange. He admitted that’s why he released pictures of himself in an oxygen chamber. He also picked very public fights with people like his close friend Paul McCartney and stiffed other friends out of money left & right. He loved every bit of the attention he got for his behavior (even dancing on an SUV during one of his court appearances for child molestation). I don’t see any reason to change my opinion or whitewash it now because he was “great” at one time — a long time ago.

Sometimes I think that, for many of the young people I know who have responded the way you describe, this is their first, “real”, larger-than-life tragedy — good or bad. To them, it really is epic. When they get more life experience, they will understand what is truly epic and what is really just a sad example of egomania gone bad.

  52. 52 BB Jun 27th, 2009 at 2:35 pm

Ooops. Egomania is already bad. Probably should have said “egomania gone MAD”.

  53. 53 BB Jun 27th, 2009 at 3:06 pm

UPDATE – just saw part of a True Hollywood story about the oxygen chamber. He was jealous that his good friend Elizabeth Taylor was appearing in the Enquirer and he was not. He had his publicist contact give the photo to the Enquirer. He gave them the Elephant Man’s bones stories too. He started wearing his face mask to “give them the old razzle dazzle”, not for any medical reason (and, his face looked fine without it!). Narcissist was the word they used.

He also dumped his child-friends like Corey Feldman once they became too old (for what???). I forgot about a lot of this stuff!

  54. 54 California Dave Jun 27th, 2009 at 8:27 pm

    Beige -

About that $500m debt. Considering how just about every music station (no matter the genre) started playing MJ songs as soon as the word of his passing got out, I bet the royalties will cover those debts before Sunday.

  55. 55 Beige Jun 28th, 2009 at 6:13 am

Interesting, CD. I wish the Big O could earn HIS keep that way, but never mind.

  56. 56 Neil Jun 28th, 2009 at 12:33 pm

Actually, California Dave, artists do not receive royalties for their music being replayed on radio. There’s currently a bill in Congress to change that, but it’s not likely to pass.

  57. 57 Kim Jun 28th, 2009 at 4:05 pm

I liked MJ’s music, which is why I’m sad he’s gone. Him, not so much.

  58. 58 Jannah Jun 28th, 2009 at 7:33 pm

Tal, your “…in a Frodo-pitying-Gollum sort of way…” is a perfect way to put it for me too.

And who didn’t think, “Oh that’s not going to happen” when they announced the 50 tour dates?! No way. Someone pushed that guy over the edge recently. But MJ is definitely responsbile for getting himself to that point of no return. Sad.

  59. 59 California Dave Jun 28th, 2009 at 9:14 pm

True enough, Neil – but the writers and publishers DO, and I bet most were written by Jackson AND are owned by Mijac Music.

  60. 60 angry army wife Jun 29th, 2009 at 8:01 am

His CD’s are out everywhere and the demand cannot be kept up. They liken this to Elvis who made more money when he was dead than alive. If they do bury him at his old home, then it could turn into another Graceland and his kids will be taken care of. Don’t like Michael the man after the early 90’s, but I loved him and his music before then. He was huge at Disney when I played with my high school band and when I worked there, then they dropped him due to his private life.

  61. 61 Elena Jun 29th, 2009 at 8:35 am

This guy Perez Hilton is fat and ugly.

  62. 62 Beige Jun 29th, 2009 at 10:00 am

Elena, you and I aren’t his type anyway.

On behalf of women everywhere, let me just say, “Thank heavens”.

  63. 63 Jannah Jun 29th, 2009 at 10:40 am

Today a poster at Lucianne.com mentioned the thought that perhaps it wasn’t even MJ in that announcement of the tour plans, but an impersonator. That’s weird, because when I saw it I immediately had the thought that his face looked a bit different again, but couldn’t quite put my finger on it, except that his smile looked different for sure. I’m going to try to find a video of it on Youtube and check it out. Weird, if true, the handlers didn’t even think that MJ was up to make the public interview, so how the heck could he do a tour?! Maybe they were going to have an imposter do the tour as well? Bizarro!

  64. 64 Lily Jun 29th, 2009 at 4:56 pm

Hahahaha, what an idiot! Now everyone is looking for their pitchforks and kerosene. will.i.am did what everyone’s been wanting to do anyway.

  65. 65 tony gee Jun 30th, 2009 at 2:53 am

I have just enough of this Perez Hilton guy and I know most of you are, too.

So, why not join our petition to scrap him out of the Teen Choice Award. How he got that nomination is really beyond explanation. His website contains pornographic materials that the teens should not have any access to. He disrespects children and tell people that they are ugly. I do not think we need this website in a society such as ours. There is already too much hate and this one is a true hater.

If you ant to help us boot him out of the nomination earlier in the game, the better. Thanks.

Please go to the following site if it is not clickable.

    http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/RemovePerez/

This guy does not deserve to have a website of his own and I wish someone would petition to boycott his website and all his advertisers. I just don’t know how. If I did, I would have dne that a long time ago.

I am so glad others pointed out that MJ was a pedophile. I was worried people had forgotten about that.

CALLING ALL CELEBS!!: I ask that you all ban together and sue Perez for all he’s said (harassment, bullying) and also see about getting this maggot banned from blogging.

Perez Hilton is a poor excuse of a human being. How dare he talk down on MJ. MJ is a legacy and 20 years will pass by and he will still be remembered. I hate to say it but Perez Hilton can die and no one would care we wouldn’t be losing anyone important. Just a piece of garbage that lives on talking about other peoples life.

i think that if we are all very lucky, perez will mysteriously have his arms and legs be tied to separate horses and have them all run off in different directions. i would find no shame in taking part in the kidnapping and torturing of this heartless “human”.

A MUST READ FOR MICHAEL JACKSON AND FANS:

    michael..
if rumors are right that you are still alive i would really be happy..

people should learn to recognize an individual’s feeling. Being accused as a child molester being called a wacko jacko.. it hurts you know.. he is not a perfect person.. like us he wanted to be treated as an ordinary human being.. everybody make mistakes..

Let him live freely.. It’s almost as everyone around him is controlling him..

Michael, more than anyone knows you, yourself should know how precious life is.. You are very important.. Your life has a purpose..Call unto him.. ^_^

Just seek me if ever you want someone to talk to.. Spill out your emotions.. It’s not bad to cry sometimes.. it’ll make you feel relieved.. trust me, then smile after your heartaches out.. Don’t try to smile in front of everyone even if it hurts.. you’ll just hurt yourself more..

    Perez Hilton…hmmm….
I’m not one to be unkind, but she’s asked for it….Perez, you are just a dumb blonde to me. You are a skank deluxe. You are a no-talent skank deluxe. Michael Jackson didn’t fake sick in 1995. Michael Jackson accomplished more in one day than you did in your entire life. Michael Jackson was not just an entertainer; he was a writer, composer, professional dancer and artist. You couldn’t hope to measure up to him on your best day. On your best day you probably have a hard time find your way out of the bedroom in the morning, you simple minded, bitch, skank.
