It’s been an epic week for the tabloid press, but fake celebrity Kate Gosselin can see the writing on the wall. The death of Michael Jackson just plumb pushed her and Jon’s divorce right off the cover of Us Weekly, and that cannot be tolerated.
So the Gosselins have released a press statement publicly requesting the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.
“During this very difficult time we will be working to focus solely on the needs of our family,” the reality TV stars say in a joint statement posted on the TLC Web site. “This includes no longer commenting publicly or reacting to media stories and speculation.”
“Our goal is to do the very best for our children and that will be done as privately as possible,” the statement continues. “We appreciate the understanding, support and well wishes from so many. Thank you.”
So they remembered to do it more than a week after the split was announced, when it would have been most appropriate. But no — it comes out now, when everyone was already giving their family all the privacy they need, having moved on to bigger stories.
In that spirit, I’m more than willing to give them what they say they want. At least until next week when Kate inevitably opens her yap again for the highest bidder.

Just look at the photo u chose of her, it is clear where her priorities are, in herself. she looks at her kids as a meal ticket and paid with her marriage. I mean really anyone who watched the commercials where she is regularly belittling him or emasculating him on a regular basis what man would want a woman around like her? clearly not her husband.
she is nothing but a gold digger! and hopefully her husband will pursue equal custody if not full custody and stop her from exploiting these children any further. I have never watched this show, nor will I. I refuse to watch a regular family as if they are somehow heroic for giving birth to multiples then not being able tokeep their marriage together maybe they should have taken some advice from the Duggars, aren’t those the people that have like 17 children? They are happily married, see if they can withstand the reality mill.
People need to get over their facination with other people’s lives and live our own, get away fro the T.V. and quit wishing you had somone elses life.
And people wonder why I pity all celebrities (real or manufactured like the Gosselins) as giant black holes of neediness…
I saw this story and laughed. They had to give the media a statement telling them to give them some space. Try shutting your yap for 5 minutes there mom of the year and they will.

Yup, nothing hotter than a grown woman dressing like a 14 year old skank. Lovely role model her kids have. Good thing Obama’s policies will be in place to support all those worthless kids when they grow up and realize they are incapable of supporting themselves.

How can we give her space when every time the paparazzi turn around, her face is mashed up against their car windows? “Hi, it’s me. And also, that my tummy tuck was JUST THE BEGINNING.”
You know, a ban by Deceiver of Jon and Kate + E!’s current ban on the ultimate dumbass couple of Hollywood (twat & twit) is not a bad thing.
I’ll reiterate my concern for the kids – I believe many of them will end up as alcoholics who drink vodka like water, become addicted to crack, either get knocked up or knock up someone’s daughter, and probably rack up a few property crimes along the way. Kate will be sitting in her empty house paying big bucks to lawyers trying to bail out her kids while she writes more dribble about her life. I hope she’s enjoying her new breasts because that hair cut looks like two chinchillas mating.
Jon will still be riding around on his new TLC chopper as Kate pays him a monthly allowance.

for a second there, I thought it was Posh Spice…then I took a closer look and noticed the hair…not that it needs to be looked closely at to be noticed.
Poptart………….I agree wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!!! Kate is such a evil woman she made Sure her pic is on every newsstand and then some. It makes me sick to think she is using her kids as a meal ticket yet she cares more about herself. She should get off the camera and get her kids the Much needed therapy they will all need for many years to come.
Also…………some of us have raised our children with morals and values. I Do Not see Kates kids growing up with either. She has no morals OR values so why pass it on to them?? I think Jon should have them Full Time and make Kate pay child support. At least he always seemed like he really loves his kids where she just brushes them off like bugs. It was more important to her to have a lunch then to go to the hospital to be with her son. In MY eyes she is a unfit mother who excepts freebies from everyone. The only Free thing she will get from me is NOT watching the show. BTW….Jon and I have the same b-day. No wonder he is so kindhearted and a wonderfull dad.

I love when TMZ mocks Kate by showing her dropping of some mail or last night’s ‘picking up some boxes.’ lol. I think they get it-these Gosselins are one-dimensional and boring, and I think their press coverage should be in the same ‘vain’. pun intended.
How long before she tries to do a spread for Playboy?
All I can say is, if I hear her say ‘I do it all for the kids’ or ‘I’m all about my kids’ I might explode. Who believes that bullcrap anyway? And that line about continuing with the show to earn money for the kids’ future is worse! You earn 75000 an episode lady! One season is enough for everyone’s college.

Eh, she doesn’t EARN anything. Tell me again–why does she have a show? Is it something brilliant she’s done, or could it be the fact that she produced EIGHT KIDS? Without the kids, no show; without the show, no Kate, apparently. If anything, the kids earn $75K/episode, not Kate.
Kate really doesn’t seem to be raising the kids themselves, given how much she’s been photographed on her own lately. Note to Kate: Raising your skirt does not equal raising kids.
