No, that dishonor goes to the mother of his(?) children:
Michael Jackson’s baby mama Debbie Rowe has sold her kids again — this time squeezing about $4 million from her former mother-in-law in exchange for giving up her parental rights, a family source told The Post yesterday…
The family isn’t happy about the mega-payout — which was set to be sealed in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon — but they consider it a necessary evil, the source said.
“They felt it was like a ransom-type thing. [Rowe] jumped back into the picture because she wanted money,” the friend said.
Rowe — a former dental assistant who bore a boy and girl for Jacko — had forfeited her parental rights once before in exchange for big bucks.
And she’s not even the sleaziest adult in these kids’ lives. Their grandpa Joe — you may remember his films in the ’70s — reportedly wants to turn them into the Jackson 3. What could go wrong?
Meanwhile, the remaining Jackson brothers, who already had an A&E “reality” show in the works to document a reunion tour, now want to, ahem, jack up the price by including footage of Michael’s funeral. Say what you want about vultures, but at least when they’re snacking on your corpse, they don’t say, “It’s what he would have wanted…”
And LaToya is shopping around her “Michael was murdered” story to anybody who’ll pay.
Anyway, I guess you can’t blame Rowe for choosing the money over the kids. How would she be able to take care of them? What’s she supposed to do, find another insane pop star who needs a broodmare?
Update: Rowe’s and Jackson’s lawyers both deny any custody deal. Well, besides the one she made 10 years ago.

I knew it was only a matter of hours before LaToya figured out how to cash in and get her face out there for the publicity. She is a chip off of her father’s block-head, isn’t she?

I think Janet is the only one who hasn’t done anything to get some $$$$ out of this. Now I get why some people think she should get the custody of these kids. Is it a coincidence that she was the only one who also had some talent besides Michael?
This sounds like an extremely low payout to me, considering the custodial value of Jackson’s assets alone. Even at 1% load it would have many times more value than this.
The HuffingtonPost has posted numerous false articles on Debbie Rowe, including an interview she never made where she stated she didn’t want the kids.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find this is more of the same.
PS, even if true, is cashing out on your parental custody rights more aggregious than raping children? There is no way Debbie Rowe is a worse parent than Michael Jackson, and if LaToya’s claims of Joe Jackson raping her are correct, the entire Jackson family.
In John Edwards news, the Obama campaign is putting heavy, heavy pressure on George Holder, the US Attorney leading the grand jury investigation of John Edwards, to resign immediately, which would effectively end the Edwards investigation.
As I’ve said before, albeit not here, give the kids to Janet. Or Tito. But not to the sadist who screwed up MJ in the first place.
I hope these kids are alright. I never saw any pictures of them before MJ’s death, and they are really beautiful. Jeez, taking them on tour as the Jackson 3? I hope that if it goes to that, true MJ fans will come together and either protest it or simply boycott the shows. Those kids need to be left alone.
I have to agree with Fortunate Son on this one: selling your kids is a hideous, awful thing to do, but molesting them is far worse. I don’t care that he was acquitted, I would never have let him get within 100 feet of ANY kids. And considering that he dangled one over the balcony, forced them to wear masks, rarely let them out in public, and they spent the vast amount of their time stuck at home instead of out playing like regular kids….I don’t give a s___ how many hits he had, he made them prisoners and abused several more. What a disgusting person.
Thank God they’ve been out in public without their masks, at least. Anyone who wants to give them a loving, normal life, I say we should give him/her not only the kids and a fat pile of money, but a commendation of some sort as well.

Yeah, Anna, that occurred to me too. I never could figure out how anyone could assume that “yeah, he dangled HIS BABY over a balcony, made his kids wear masks and named them things like ‘Prince Michael I and II’, he did all those things, and he had little kids in his bed, but it’s not like he was a molester.” Really? How would the molesting be a stretch of any kind, when he did all that other stuff in the public eye?
I saw on Nightline (or the regular news, it’s all MJ, all the time) that Debbie Rowe is claiming that she insisted that the kids have their faces covered all the time. Her reasoning was that it protected them somehow. I am pretty sure that everyone still knew who they were! The masks probably just fueled the media fire.
I just hope that someone is in the kids’ lives who will put their wellbeing first.

How can they be Jacko’s kids when there isn’t a shred of his DNA in them. Unless of course you count that he bought and paid for them. If those kids got any whiter they would be albino’s and I don’t think the bleaching he has done affected his gene’s.
Furthermore to LN’s comment – her lawyers have filed paperwork to countersue the new york post for lying. So perhaps she’s not the devil – only time will tell.
