I’m sick and tired of that freekin old meme. As soon as I hear the word nazi or holocaust I immediately dismiss the one saying it as an idiot.

oops wrong story. I guess y’all would figure out my comment belongs with the previous story.

Wait, I thought Edwards affair was complete on December 31, 2006 and Elizabeth Edwards was fully informed?

So how could Edwards’ baby be delivered on February 27, 2008?

    That’s a 14 month gestation period…

Sounds like Elizabeth Edwards has been lying to the public too.

And if Elizabeth Edwards wasn’t lying to the public, why on Larry King did she say she was surpised at the July 21, 2008 Enquirer allegations? John had already admitted them to her, no?

As always maintained, Elizabeth Edwards was a willing co conspirator in this public deception.

If she lied about Rielle Hunter, what else has she lied about?

You don’t think she’s lying *gasp* about the cancer, do you?

  5. 5 Kristine Aug 13th, 2009 at 8:15 pm

Oh, my little Deceiver-loving heart got three sizes too big when I heard that on the news just now… maybe he should just go the other way and try for the baby mama vote.

What an interesting theory. You don’t think John Edwards would exaggerate someone’s medical condition as an instrument of leverage, do you?

Only Dr Lisa Carey of the University of North Carolina knows for sure, and her statements have been cryptic.

“This is a very variable thing. I don’t have a crystal ball about how she’s going to do. I can tell you that many patients with exactly the circumstances that she has do very well for a number of years. And the fact that she is a healthy person, and that there isn’t a lot of the cancer, and that she doesn’t have symptoms, all work in her favor”

Dr. Toby Greene, a breast cancer surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack,NJ called Elizabeth Edwards’ diagnosis “”more like a chronic illness…You can never forget that you have it, but it doesn’t mean that you cannot live a long, hearty, prosperous life.”

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive……………

It’s very difficult to keep the lies straight when all you do is tell one whopper right after another.

I am so glad that I did not have a baby with Edwards. Who in their right mind would want to be pregnant for 14 months. LOL. So true Koka, you must have a phenominal memory when you are a pathalogical liar and from what I’ve seen and heard the Edwards team doesn’t. Or they are suffering from Follie a Duex, which would be another great book for Elizabeth to write.

I hope that when he finally admits to being the father that this story will just go away. Same with Edwards. Slink back into the hole he came out of.

A.A.W., Once they are out of the hole they never go back in.

You need to quit giving these people attention. There is nothing about either one of them that is worth it.

Looks like Edwards is not giving a public admission! Wonder who started the ball rolling on this story?

  14. 14 Catharine Aug 14th, 2009 at 10:12 pm

I just heard MSNBC covering this story. MSNBC! Wow

  15. 15 Fortunate_Son Aug 15th, 2009 at 5:49 pm

I’m not certain why anything coming from John Edwards’ mouth or mouthpiece should be considered more credible than the National Enquirer, as Edwards’ has proven himself almost incapable of the truth over and over again.

At this moment in history, he is unlikely to do so before his Grand Jury findings.

If he’s indicted, John Edwards will hole up for the long haul. If he’s not indicted, Edwards will be on Oprah, blubbering like a baby, and asking in the third person for the public’s forgiveness for clouding up “the light that shines on John.”

Most likely this PR blurb was floated by Edwards, for Edwards, as a method to subtly influence the non-sequestered Grand Jury, which may or may not have a predisposition towards punishing Edwards simply for being a giant douche.

By making it look like he’s about to embark on a little public self-flagellation, Edwards
may escape the average Jury member’s desire to act punatively.

Looks like Edwards is not giving a public admission!

That adverb above should be “punitively”, of course.

  17. 17 Jannah Aug 16th, 2009 at 6:47 pm

Maybe she got mis-diagnosed with cancer, and went through all the surgery and treatments for nothing, then Edwards could sue the pants off of her doctor as he is wont to do in his career, wouldn’t he be lucky.

(P.S. I got treated for stage-3 cancer, so I get to make jokes about it if I want to) :-)

  18. 18 Fortunate_Son Aug 17th, 2009 at 1:59 pm

That’s not too far off the line Jannah, for every injury/death in Edwards life, there has been a responsible party.

When Edwards’ son Wade died, in a Jeep Cherokee rollover, JEEP was the deep pocket that paid a supposed multi-million dollar settlement.

No doubt the source of Elizabeth’s cancer will be discovered to be a deep pocket also.

Anyone calling this overly cynical, need just read some of the briefing notes that Fred Baron & John Edwards used for witness testimony in their Asbestos shakedowns.

  19. 19 Angry Army Wife Aug 17th, 2009 at 2:39 pm

Considering that Edwards was a glorified Ambulance chaser and got rich off of other people’s pain makes me think harder that there will be a lawsuit concerning something. would not put it past him. He is a sneaky guy. Thank goodness he is not in this administration. We have enough sneaky people already screwing us over.

For a minute when I saw the headlines, I thought you guys were talking about *this* Big Baby:

    http://www.sportsofboston.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/080208_big_baby.jpg

But it’s only John Edwards. Phew! My adoration of the Celtics can continue unabated. ;-)

  21. 21 Jannah Aug 21st, 2009 at 2:01 pm

Wow, FortunateSon, I had no idea that Edwards’ legal pursuits extended to his own family benefit as well. I guess it makes sense, if you know how to bleed money from people, you’d do it for yourself as well.
