Family Values? Well, You Can’t Start a Family Without Some of This…

Hey, did you ever see those old Weekend Update segments with Chevy Chase? Sometimes he’d pretend to be on the phone with his girlfriend, talking dirty to her, before realizing he was on the air. Well, it looks like this Orange County, CA assemblyman wasn’t pretending, but he really was on a live microphone:

Yikes! At least Mark Sanford was a gentleman about it.

According to the LA Times:

An Orange County lawmaker who inadvertently broadcast explicit remarks about his sexual conquests over an open microphone during a lull in a Sacramento hearing abruptly resigned from office this afternoon.

Assemblyman Mike Duvall (R-Yorba Linda) stepped down after legislative leaders stripped him of his committee posts this morning and launched an ethics probe of his actions…

His remarks were caught on videotape during a July hearing of the Assembly Appropriations committee and aired on a KCAL television news report Tuesday night. In the videotape, the married, socially conservative Duvall talks with a colleague in uninhibited detail about his apparent trysts with two women, neither of them his wife…

The Capitol Resource Institute, a conservative, self-described “pro-family” advocacy organization that had given Duvall a “100%” score for his voting record on issues of concern to the group, denounced the lawmaker in a statement today. .

“It is always disappointing when a champion of traditional values does not practice the same in his private life,” said Karen England, executive director of CRI.

Ladies, if you see this man and he asks if you want to “get polled” or see his “hanging chads,” just vote Nay.

What kind of pig talks about his sex life to others? That’s all I have to say because I’m too busy writing.

    “Dear Penthouse.
I never thought this would happen to me…”

It’s always the ones that make the most noise about ‘family values’that end up being the worst offenders. Moron.

  3. 3 Ani Sep 9th, 2009 at 7:14 pm

No kidding, Don. And they’re worried gay marriage destroys the sanctity of marriage? No, wandering pricks and the dumb women who fall for them destroy some of the sanctity.

I’m just glad he resigned, and I hope he’s deeply humiliated. I imagine his wife (or now ex-wife, as the case may be) is stomping his goolies into a thin jam.

I do not condone what he did and he did the right thing by resigning. Sanford should take note and follow right behind him. Anyone who teaches about family morales and values and then gets caught with his pants down should resign and go away. Too bad Clinton never took that advice.

Hi All. Who in the world would want to sleep with him? He’s lucky he’s got a wife. Well, maybe not now. FYI, you spank me and I’m going to knock you out.

Thanks CBS, for tooling up and getting the video removed from YouTube.

This is why whenever I decide to enter public life I am going to run on a “coke and stippers” platform. This way people will know what they get up front. And if I end up becoming a hypocrite by accidentally having those “morals and values” I hear so much about, well, I’m pretty sure most of my constituents wouldn’t mind.

No kidding, Happy Camper… he’s a gross pervert! Why do these women fall for this kind of scum?!

The Irish, you have my vote!!

The woman he spanked are both married, lobbyists for a utility conglomerate if I am not mistaken. They too should resign,be publicly humiliated. Their behaviour is pretty crappy as well.

I know I’m not perfect, but it really isn’t THAT hard to behave like a decent person in public. It’s not really that hard to be a basically decent person in private, either.

    Powerful people, take note.
