Obama Administration Graciously Accepts Apology from Repugnant Filth

whyyouYesterday, the greatest president in American history said this about Enemy of the People Joe Wilson:

“I’m a big believer that we all make mistakes,” Obama said. Wilson “apologized quickly and without equivocation. I am appreciative of that.

“I do think that, as I said last night, we have to get to the point where we can have a conversation about big, important issues that matter to the American people without vitriol, without name-calling, without the assumption of the worst of other people’s motives,” Obama said.

Today, Richard Wolffe quotes an unnamed White House “senior adviser” regarding the inability of the polls to recognize Obama’s greatness:

…In this adviser’s view, the town hall dramas didn’t take the toll everybody think they did; rather, the outbursts were largely politically irrelevant. “I don’t think the protestors hurt us,” the senior adviser said. “We’ve done three town hall meetings and they were all fine.”

In fact, the White House is more than ready to brush aside the now-infamous protest of Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, who yelled at the President during his televised address. “I think this is a pimple on the ass of progress,” said the senior adviser.

Let’s move beyond the vitriolic namecalling, you ass-zit!

Where were the apologies to Bush for calling him names? Oh, right. I forgot. Different guy, different group of namecallers.

  2. 2 California Dave Sep 11th, 2009 at 4:51 pm

    Class all the way.

Don’t these people get that when they say stuff like this, they are representing the President?

  3. 3 Catharine Sep 11th, 2009 at 5:13 pm

I agree with Dave. SENIOR advisor?? Pimple on the ass? Call me old-fashioned but a senior advisor should not say ass

You know what, let’s just lynch Joe Wilson in a public square for the heinous crime he committed.

All presidents are created equal, only some are more equal than others.

The dude apologized for what he said (which I think was pretty awesome — the outburst I mean), move the heck on already. Oh wait — he dared to criticize THE ONE. He must be destroyed.

I know this is off-topic for this particular thread, and it may be that the Powers That Be at Deceiver.com will start a new topic on this, so my apologies in advance if this derails the thread.

It appears that Margaret Williams, Board member of ACORN in Maryland, is whining about a big mean Fox News conspiracy to hurt ACORN. Of course, she accuses Fox News of “racism”. The two ACORN workers who tried to assist with child prostitution “have been terminated because their handling of the Fox agents provocateurs did not meet ACORN’s standards of professionalism.”

So let me get this right. Two ACORN workers tried to facilitate child prostitution and tax evasion, but that is only a minor infraction of “standards of professionalism”. But let someone be a so-called “racist” and the world is coming to an end? (And that’s assuming the person accused of racism actually is a racist!)

Since when is racism somehow worse that the promotion of child prostitution? To hear Margaret Williams talk, promoting child prostitution isn’t nearly as bad as racism. I guess to Ms. Williams the approval of perverts molesting children is only a minor offense compared to being a racist.

If ever there was a blatant example of hypocrisy, that’s it.

  9. 9 Vince Sep 11th, 2009 at 6:57 pm

Hmmm, it appears the link doesn’t work when you click on it. But you can still view Ms. Williams’ comment if you go to Acorn.org and then click on the link entitled “Statement from Margaret Williams, Board Member, Maryland ACORN” about halfway down the page.

Where was the apology from PEBO for calling a police officer stupid for doing his job?

  14. 14 scone Sep 12th, 2009 at 1:44 am

If the police officer had been an islamic terrorist, he might have gotten an apology from BO.

Never did understand the comparison between Bush & Hitler. But between BO & Hitler/Mao/Stalin/Chavez/Castro/Pot, clear as day.

And the RINOs in congress sicken me. Has even one of them gotten Joe Wilson’s back? Pathetic spineless gnats.

Lets hope the advisor isn’t this stupid. They were scripted. They even had Dem Electors psoing as doctors.

  16. 16 Rich Sep 12th, 2009 at 2:39 am

Remember that fool is an adviser. This person is supposed to be able to think past the emotions and parse through the elements of these types situations. Unfortunately for the president he could not think his way out of a paper bag even if this administrations life depends on that advice and it does. “I don’t think the protests hurt us.” He is paid to adivse. Not to pretend. That lack of hurt must be why the Presidents favorable rating is plumeting. When you spend your entire adult life in a fantasy bubble this nonsense makes sense to these individuals. When they are gone, whey will be forgotten. What fond memories do you imagine anyone will hold from this administration? This collection of light-weights had better begin weaving the mother-of-all-rugs because there is some serious dirt that will need sweeping under it.

It doesn’t matter what the bill SAYS. The day that it is signed, La Raza will already have an illegal friendly court ready to declare that part of the law unconstitutional. Not only will it provide political cover for the Big zerO, that will also give him more reason to raise taxes.

  19. 19 Fatty Bolger Sep 12th, 2009 at 7:06 am

There it is again, that word: “conversation.” Obama and his ilk love that word, but to them it doesn’t mean what the rest of us think it means. They don’t really want a conversation. They want a diktat, a central plan, a progressive new order. Any time you see it used, replace it with one of those phrases, and you will see that the request for a “conversation” is really a way of saying: “Stop opposing us, we, your benevolent superiors, know what is best for you.”

  20. 20 Richard W Sep 12th, 2009 at 7:21 am

Well.. we will see how the 9/12 “town halls” go today. Regardless, I’m certain the advisor will still say “I don’t think the protests hurt us.” Either they are in denial or plan on pushing the narative (and health “reform”) down our throats.

  21. 21 Dennis Sep 12th, 2009 at 8:24 am

    The hypocrisy here is amazing.

  22. 22 angry army wife Sep 12th, 2009 at 9:39 am

    That’s horrible! Worse than:

    – Impregnating your campaign worker (John Edwards)
    – Taking $100,000 in bribe money and hiding it in your freezer (William Jefferson)
    – Driving drunk and killing a campaign volunteer (Kennedy)
    – Cheating on $2 Million in taxes (Geithner or Rangel)
    – Screwing your intern (Bill Clinton)
    – Dating an employee of an organization you’re regulating (Barney Frank and Herb Moses)

Exactly, they (Kennedy, Clinton, etc.) heckled and guffawed at Bush when he addressed Congress, what’s the diff? And I agree, he took the hit by expressing what many of us are feeling and seeing with our own eyes. I’m sorry that he had to apologize, Dems never do. Let’s pray for Wilson’s career, family, and well being, there are sure to be various attacks on him in the near future over this.

Can we please just take these words away from the current administration altogether because if I hear them one more time, my TV might die of roundhouse kick related injuries: HOPE, PROGRESS, CHANGE, and CYNICAL.

Apparently everyone who doesn’t automatically fall to their knees before the Chosen One is cynical and promoting their own agenda. And being cynical is like being Genghis Khan, same as working for profit. WHY DO YOU REJECT THE GOSPEL OF OBAMA?!?!

Joe Wilson (at least he’s stated that he will not apologize again), branded as racist.

And minorites who are against BO’s policies? Uncles Toms, geisha dolls, puppets, etc.

Anybody read the article from Andrew Friedman, Washington Post? This guy somehow seems to think that Joe Wilson’s outburst during the Joint Session of Congress was the first time it ever happened, and it signals the end of civilization as we know it. Here’s the key paragraph:

When Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina uttered his infamous “You Lie!” heckle of President Obama during last week’s Joint Session of Congress, one thought ran through my mind. “Oh no,” I whispered to myself, “it’s finally happened. There is no more wall between the way people interact online, and the real, live action world.”

    The guy’s a toolbox. Here’s the article:

  49. 49 Angry Army Wife Sep 14th, 2009 at 12:49 pm

  57. 57 AllyKat Sep 15th, 2009 at 12:25 am

I always wonder about people who automatically assume racism (and not just for the infamous “when you assume…” quip). I think it often says more about the person who sees racism than it does about the perceived racist. A recent study found that kids who were constantly told about racism and how they would encounter it and it was rampant and so on, were more likely to attribute failure, hardship, etc. to bias or racism against them, rather than to their own actions. Kids who were told to value their heritage and that they were as capable as anyone else were more likely to attribute their successes to hard work than to luck. Self-fulfilling prophecies are amazing things.

I want to know what rock Andrew Friedman is living under. He clearly has never actually been to D.C., or anywhere really, if he thinks that people are never rude or disruptive in public. What Rep. Wilson said was TAME, and hardly the sign of the apocalypse. Now, if he listened to the counter-protesters at a conservative rally, he might have a point. There are some crazy people on the right, but aside from Klansmen, most people aren’t that hateful (that I have seen). I have seen and heard more vitriol from the left, and from people who aren’t considered that far left, than from the right. They will rip you for daring to be conservative and disagreeing with the liberal way. Anyone who has ever attended college can attest to the fact that conservatism is rarely tolerated, and is mocked and discouraged as a norm. If anyone, even a liberal, suggests that both sides of an issue should receive equal coverage and consideration, woe unto them. I read an op-ed recently by a liberal student who suggested that colleges should do more to diversify their faculty (bringing in more conservatives to balance the overwhelming liberal majority). A professor actually screamed at him (literally) for having such an idea. As in, she stood over him, yelled at him, and then screamed.
