Scott Baio Gave Them Stink Eye

It must be Republicans Run Rampant on Twitter Week, because along with the Meghan McCain kerfluffle, there’s washed-up ’80s actor Scott Baio bashing the president.

It began with this:

scott-baio-twitter1

Followed by this response by fiction writer Gwen Hayes:

scott-baio-twitter2

And finally:

scott-baio-twitter3

After which Baio blocked Hayes and told her blogger friend, “I am VERY VERY Rich, and semi retired anyway. Family & Golf is what I live for now my dear”.

Scott Baio calling anyone a loser? After Scott Baio Is 45…And Single? Now that’s what I call VERY VERY rich.

(Golf clap to TotallyTheBomb.com for all the screen captures.)

Holly I have to umbridge with the remark that megan McCain is a Republican. I think the term you were looking for and that applies to her father as well is RINO.

As for Baio, well, you tell em Scott, that Gwen will never get the best of you…lol.

  2. 2 Aleric Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:00 pm

Insert “take” beteween to and umbridge. It’s been a long day.

  3. 3 MildlyAmsused Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:06 pm

If you go to twitter now, he’s changed his account to @RealScottBaio and is claiming he never DM-ed anyone and his account was hacked.

    Backpeddle much?

  4. 4 Pastafarian Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:07 pm

Please. If she was “conservative mostly” she wouldn’t un-follow him for that one dumb joke. She’s just dumb and obviously thinks we’re dumber than her if she thinks anyone believes that.

  5. 5 MildlyAmused Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:07 pm

Wow, apparently I can’t even spell my own name anymore. o_O

I need a Friday afternoon martini.

  6. 6 Holly Won't Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:12 pm

Way ahead of you there, MildlyAmused.

  7. 7 StrawberryGirl Oct 16th, 2009 at 6:35 pm

After all of the nonsense we hear from liberal D-listers, I think we’re entitled to a few of our own.

  8. 8 James Woods Oct 16th, 2009 at 7:13 pm

I agree with Scott and disagree with whoever posted this article. Regardless of him being single or not he’s gotten more poon then you can imagine, if poon is what your flavor is.

When I see an Obama bumper stick I want to ram the car off the road. Im a conservative and affirmative action isn’t my president, he’s dear leader of the new socialist party.

    SO WHO IS GWEN HAYES

An obsessed pop culture fan born who frequently uses the iD mrsmom914, part time “paranormal romance” author Gwen Hayes enjoys subtly bashing Sarah Palin from her home in Seattle, Washington. (http://i36.tinypic.com/2dvo65l.jpg)

Born in Racine, Wisconsin, Gwen claims to be 38 years old, but is probably 43,(http://www.pmevents.com/results/event/1671/AGEGRN.TXT), may have filed for bankruptcy in 2001 (http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220301)and have a husband who is apparently a deadbeat dad (http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219760)

Raised on diet of 80’s fan magazines, her limited online contact with Scott Baio is probably the fulfillment of a heart racing lifelong fantasy for this part time “paranormal romance” author.(http://www.fafarazzi.com/post_detail.php?post_id=950&title=this-is-perfect).

    THAT BEING SAID…
Gwen Hayes is wicked smart and in a battle of wits against her, Scott Baio is a completely unarmed man, and perhaps an Angel of Death.

e.g. Two years ago she correctly called the imminent deaths of 1.Dom Deluise 2. Farrah Fawcett, and 3.Betty White in a three man dead pool. Sure, fat, old and druggy are not a subset of long living peoples, but dead pools are harder than you think.

Scott Baio better hope he is not on her new list.

  10. 10 katie Oct 17th, 2009 at 6:19 am

twitter is such a stupid site. its for d list “celebrities” and yeah exactly.. he’s “very very rich” after that VH1 reality stunt a few years ago? i hadn’t heard his name since then until i came here!

  11. 11 cassidy Oct 17th, 2009 at 9:17 am

Scott Baio is still alive? I guess I need to turn on the television more often. I thought he was dead.

  12. 12 Islero47 Oct 17th, 2009 at 9:38 am

Clever comparison. Scott Baio just went up a couple notches in my book! Besides, I don’t see how hating bumper stickers is disparaging.

  13. 13 Habanada Oct 17th, 2009 at 9:56 am

Okay, Scott Baio washed up, yes. McCains republican (or even conservative) . . . no. (That guy just wants to be president–I think he’ll run on any ticket anybody gives him.) Hypocritical content? Negligable. Dissing the president? Ummm . . . having an opinion isn’t hypocritical until you go back on it. There was more in what MildlyAmused pointed out. Changing the account and backpedalling on the opinion? NOW we’re talking.

Strawberry Girl’s comment for the win–thanks, SG! What’s the cartoon strip that has the professor telling his student, “Even if you don’t agree with the president, you must respect his office!” And the student says, “What’s that mean?” The professor answers, “I don’t know. I haven’t said it in eight years.”

  14. 14 Beige Oct 17th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

Scott Baio had better get busy doing a lot more disparaging of The Anointed One and his minions, if he wants to pay off the karmic debt he incurred with “Charles in Charge” alone. He needs to be out donating bone marrow, pulling mewling kittens out of burning buildings, delivering babies in supermarket aisles, you name it, ON TOP OF speaking truth to power.

In a few years he’ll be ready to start compensating for “Joanie Loves Chachi”.

  15. 15 Beige Oct 17th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

I just this minute got the “Scott Baio Gave Them Stink Eye” reference.

I love you so much, Deceiver. Don’t ever leave me.

  16. 16 D--- Oct 17th, 2009 at 5:10 pm

Is the stink eye reference to Scott Baio’s latest works?

  17. 17 Beige Oct 17th, 2009 at 5:47 pm

Hee. I think it’s actually a “South Park” reference.

“And then Scott Baio gave me pinkeye!”

“He needs to be out donating bone marrow, pulling mewling kittens out of burning buildings, delivering babies in supermarket aisles, you name it, ON TOP OF speaking truth to power.” LOL beige!!

  19. 19 Sheesh Oct 18th, 2009 at 6:08 am

Scott made obscene remarks about the Pres, too, saying his wife calls Obama a “sh*tf*ck and that he agrees with her. And pairing him with Michael Vick is…a questionable choice, to say the least. Addressing the “both losers” part is really hard..because I’m really fighting the urge to sing-songy-say, “it takes one to know one!”. Scottie likes to call the liberals retarded and peachy stuff like that, and he blocks just about anyone who doesn’t fawn over him. It’s as though he’s using twitter as a love-me-I’m-old-and-nobody-cares-anymore forum for fan suckage (I’m told he does have fans, but I’m still skeptical). And as a soapbox to spew whatever disparaging remarks he wants, while poking anyone trying to discuss something with him with a stick. And he sends his followers after people instead of answering for his self. He’s a really cool guy that way!! Wouldn’t it be cool if none of us had to answer for stupid stuff we did? Like, Ever? Maybe he should write a conventional blog & block comments so no one can respond…but that wouldn’t be read for very long because he can’t seem to compose entire sentences…at least not more than one at a time.

I’m thinking Scottie’s Glue…because all the names he calls other people seem to come back and stick to him.

@StrawberryGirl please be my new BFF. :-)

@Fortunate_Son is kinda creepy…whaddup with the researching an innocent victim and posting le crap? The ID of “mrsmom914″ could be anyone. Stalkerish much? Someone needs to get a life.

  20. 20 BeotchSlapTheBeotchNamedKanye Oct 18th, 2009 at 11:41 am

Whoever this Scott Baio is…he’s got balls enough to tell the damned truth and you fairies here are Deceiver, once again, show why most people consider you political hermaphrodites!

  21. 21 Fortunate_Son Oct 18th, 2009 at 1:10 pm

Gwen Hayes is an “innocent victim”, Sheesh, rather, she is a publicity seeking public figure with more than 275 links that resolve to her website “GwenHayes.com”.

More than two thirds of those links include the login ID Mrsmo914 (not MrsMOM914 as earlier stated) which is curiously rare.

When you go online with the same ID from the same city, at about the same time, and ask for help regarding your bankruptcy and husband’s ex-wive’s delinquent child support payments, you are not a anonymous victim, you are a public vitimizer who has victimized your lender, who will now be forced to take a loss on your loan, credit cards, etc.

  22. 22 angry army wife Oct 18th, 2009 at 3:13 pm

with all of the Bush bashing that took place from hollywood, it is nice and refreshing to see someone say what we all say everyday. Thank you Scott Baio. I don’t care that you are a has been. I still love “Happy Days” with you in it.

  23. 23 Sheesh Oct 18th, 2009 at 3:51 pm

@Fortunate_son Oh, golly, thanks for clearing things up! You’re here to spread “information” (wink, wink) about Gwen Hayes – this has nothing to do with Scottie for you, right? Okie dokie – got it. Kinda sounds like you’re the husband or ex-wife or a bank or the pizza delivery dude, or whoever she is supposedly victimizing. Boy, you’ve sure shown her, gosh darnit! Carry on. I’m off to go read something interesting instead.

  24. 24 Beige Oct 18th, 2009 at 5:12 pm

And he sends his followers after people instead of answering for his self. He’s a really cool guy that way!! Wouldn’t it be cool if none of us had to answer for stupid stuff we did?

Well, that’s at least ONE thing he has in common with the guy he’s criticizing, huh?

  25. 25 Anonymous Oct 18th, 2009 at 5:20 pm

That’s right, Sheesh, last week I was John Edwards’ former employee and today I am Gwen Hayes’ Pizza Delivery guy.

Though you feign disinterest, I’m guessing you’ll come come back for thirds in another nine hours or so.

  26. 26 Pearce Oct 18th, 2009 at 5:33 pm

Geez, Sheesh…who peed in your Frosted Flakes this morning?

  27. 27 Sheesh Oct 19th, 2009 at 1:59 am

@Anonymous – HA HA! I like you, that was good. You were a little bit off on the time, though. I thought my 2nd comment was blocked because it didn’t post earlier and just came back to see if all comments had been stopped. Thanks for the humor…and when are you bringing my pizza??

@Pearce, I have been asking that same question all damned day! Lucky for me I ate the flakes around the pee. :-)

  28. 28 cara Oct 19th, 2009 at 10:07 am

I don’t have a Twitter account, never have visited and don’t plan to. NOW WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT CHACHI?!?! Who, in their right mind would go and FOLLOW scott baio?

What has this world come to?
Conservative or not…this guy and anyone who follows him need to have their head’s examined.

    Palin or me ‘12

  29. 29 Pearce Oct 19th, 2009 at 11:43 am

I dunno, Sheesh…I think don’t think pee and milk separate like oil and water….

  30. 30 Fortunate_Son Oct 19th, 2009 at 1:08 pm

Harmony is restored, and your pizza will arrive shortly, Sheesh.

I remember reading an Erin Moran (joanie) interview where she strongly insinuated Scott Baio had sexually assaulted her.

At the time I remember thinking she sounded psychotic and or narced out.

It was very similar to the manner in which supermodel Karen Mulder accused Prince Albert of Monaco. Almost an identical story with slightly less opulent surroundings.

Anyway, Moran apparently recanted and they are friends again.

  31. 31 Beige Oct 19th, 2009 at 1:38 pm

“Hey, Scott? I’m sorry I accused you, publicly, of attempting forcible bootch-scootching with me.”

    “That’s okay. Hey–wanna grab a Slurpee?”

    “Sure!”

    “Neato!”

    Betty White is still alive.

  34. 34 Fortunate_Son Oct 21st, 2009 at 11:50 pm

Hi Gwen, I thought you might grace us with your prescence sooner or later.

On NewsRadio they used to call that one the Star Trek “Geek Test”, where only the truly enlightened would correct the small error.

I did see her standing next to Patton Oswalt in a roast recently. Can’t remember whose it was.

Even with BW’s survival, I’m guessing you would still own Scott Baio in a battle of wits. Or a cagefight.

Any plans to write in a Chachi-esque character in your new book?
(You could always have him die of space-fleas from deep space promsicuity.)

  35. 35 gwen hayes Oct 22nd, 2009 at 12:02 pm

I think Mr. Baio’s PR people have him well at hand now. He’s laid off the caps and the libelous behavior, so we’re good.

Honestly, I never thought commenting that I would unfollow someone would cause such a ruckus. I had forgotten that he has under 3k followers, so he would notice–unlike most celebrities who have, well, more.

He’s stopped publicly accusing me of extortion now. And since he got his new account, we’ve seen a kinder, gentler Scott Baio.

    Chachi 2.0, if you will.

I haven’t exactly learned my lesson. I still follow John Stamos and Rick Springfield. However, if I decide to unfollow either of them, I will do so quietly, in the wee hours of the morning.

  36. 36 Fortunate_Son Oct 22nd, 2009 at 6:50 pm

I spent the evening drinking with John Stamos back in the (early?) 1990’s that ended in water (its a small world, if we ever collide, I’ll fill you in on the details).

Was surprised to see he was such a genuine, laid back guy. Not even a tenth as pompous as I would be had I been blessed with his genetics.

Its always an error when celebrities discuss Hollywood. The vast majority of them seem to be unaware that 49% of the popular vote was for McCain.

This is probably Chachi V7.0. Only Chachis through Version 1.7 were valuable.

Stick around, you might like Deceiver. It routinely ranks on first page Google searches for recent celebrity catastrophes. Could bring your site some traffic.

(disclosure: I have no official relationship with Deceiver. In fact, some days they barely tolerate my prescence.).
