Anonymous, the point was being made sarcastically about plants’ feeling pain. I really don’t care if plants feel anything at all, but so many others in the world buy into every little study that comes along. Hence, why we can’t get away from so called global warming, oops, I mean climate change.

Anyways, there ARE government supported studies that hook plants up to different types of meters that say when they are damaged or distressed they emit electrical-type waves that can be measured. I personally worked on one team building that type of meters for NASA several years ago to track plant growth in seeds and plants hydroponically planted while in orbit. Not really pseudoscience when used in that way.

Our tax dollars at work.

lamb? Duck? Steak? Hmmmm. Last time I checked, any good restaurant would know how to fix some nice vegetarian dinners. Guess maybe PETA did not bother to ask? And what did Pam Anderson have to eat then?

And Coda – what is your point? My husband is a US Army Ranger getting ready to go back for his 3rd deployment. I thank God everyday that there are people like him who sacrifice his life so that we may speak up and voice our opinions.

I hear it’s better (for the enviroment) to be a car driving vegetarian than bike riding meat eater.
So, PETA thinks it’s OK to eat some animals…reaks of double standards.

Obviously PETA has no problem with silicon.
