Former Miss California and “opposite marriage” morality advocate Carrie Prejean has reached a confidential settlement with the Miss California USA pageant officials she sued for firing her allegedly because of her views on gay marriage. But because nothing is really confidential in this town, TMZ has the scoop:
Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials — that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.
The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let’s just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.
We’re told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing. As we first reported, the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist — a fraction of her bills. She pockets nothing in the settlement.
Talk about an ace in the hole. This must be a real blow. Really sucks for her.
CNN reports that Prejean’s tell-all book, Still Standing, is coming out next week. You have to wonder if this chapter made the final draft.

If TMZ calls something racey it means that it may have a partial nude shot. Otherwise they would be plastering thier websites with phrases like “Porn”, “Explicit”, “Graphic”, etc.
Wait, wait. A lady we’d all forgotten about has a book coming out next week and all of a sudden there’s word of a sextape?
What the Hell? Is there some sort of magic formula to get girls to make a sex tape with you? How do you bring this up? All I ever get is screaming, and yelling, and stuff whipped at my face. How do they always see that little teeny hole in the bathroom wall to begin with? What exactly are they looking for behind that vase anyway?
Are we criticizing Carrie here? Why? What does her personal sex tape have to do with her views on gay marriage? Even if it is with her and another woman (please let it be that!).
The real scandal here is that the Pageant is BLACKMAILING her (can we still say that word?). She may or may not have a case, that is for the court to decide, but it is unfair, not to mention possibly illegal, for the Pageant’s atteorney to blackmail her to drop her demands.
That was my first thought too actually. Blackmail.
Be ready for US Weekly and a reality tv show deal with E! in 3…2…
Of course they’re allowed to blackmail her. She’s a conservative, church-going Christian and most likely a Republican. It’s totally open season on Carrie Prejean. Now, if it had been, say, America’s favorite home-wrecking, baby-collecting couple Brangelina, none of this would be an issue.
But since Carrie Prejean is an evil, evil conservative, it’s A-OK to try and destroy her career and personal life. It’s another example of the left’s mantra of “tolerance for me, but not for thee.”
You know, if–IF–there really and truly is a “sex” tape featuring Prejean, I’m really disappointed in her. But either way I’m disgusted beyond words with the pageant people.
She has set herself up to be the arbiter of Christian moral standards, so it is valid to use this against her. She is claiming discrimination due to her views, but she doesn’t even believe she must adhere to the same moral standards as “regular” Christians due to, um, well, she is Carrie and she is special. I have plenty of upstanding Christian friends and she is an insult to Christianity.
What’s all this talk about a black male? Why is this racially based now? And Pasta, I agree, i’ve switched to hiding the cam in the cieling fan, they never look there, not a great angle, but you don’t get caught.
Pastafarian, maybe you should try telling the girls you’re a reality tv producer. How you’ll say that with a straight face I don’t know, but that should get them naked, oiled up and ready for their close up.
Funny, I thought Perez Hilton did that.
BB- If you are a lawyer you should be disbarred for an argument like that. I’m assuming you are not one. I’m betting that you are a 13-15 year old because those reasoning skillz of yours fits that age range.
It wouldn’t matter if she were the #1 porn actress in the Valley; she’s entitled to her views on same sex marriage. For all we know, this could have been done before she became a Christian. Generally, I consider it a good idea for anyone in the crosshairs of the cultural elite to make sure they air out the skeletons in their closets because they will surely be used against them by an angry left out to pull an Alinksy on them. If she had a tawdry past–and it looks like she sure did–she needs to own up to it now.
Wouldn’t it only count as hypocritical if the video was made *after* the pageant? Which it probably wasn’t.
Don’t get me wrong, though, I am not condoning her making a sex tape, I just don’t think she should be blackmailed because of it.
Hurricane, Pasta, let’s be reasonable. Blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion – the “ex” makes it sound cool.
Definitely the spirit of blackmail if not the technical definition.
I remain stunned that gay America was foolhardy enough to make Perez Hilton their default spokesperson.
Imagine going to war with “gay America”. What would happen if you lost?
