Chris Brown Pissed That Rihanna Is Making Him Look Bad

rihanna_chris_brownAs most of you have already heard, Rihanna spoke candidly to Diane Sawyer last week about the night Chris Brown beat her to a bloody pulp. Initially, he was not too worried about it:

“Honestly, because I have expressed my wrongs and there is nothing that could come out that’s like, ‘OK, this is something totally different than what we know,’ ” he told MTV News when asked. “I basically expressed how I feel, basically said what I’m wrong for.”

But apparently he didn’t realize that her graphic retelling of how he held her in a headlock and punched and bit her repeatedly would make him look bad. Because now that the interview has aired, it’s a different tune altogether:

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8,” Brown says in a statement to MTV News, “I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us.”

In other words: “Bitch, shut up and stop ruining my career.” I seriously can’t believe he’s trying to put her in her place here. But the real hypocrisy is how he was all too willing to share the details of what it was like when he was the victim of abuse at the hands of his mom’s boyfriend as a kid.

You have to wonder how his year of court-mandated domestic violence counseling is going if this is how he shows respect.

Wonder if he’ll go over to her house to make his point…with a baseball bat.

    God, I hope not.

  2. 2 Rachel Nov 9th, 2009 at 3:42 pm

A private matter? Yea just like “Dont tell anyone I beat the crap our of you because they wouldn’t understand. Ugh. I miss the old days when her father could have just gone to his house and shot him

  3. 3 Aleric Nov 9th, 2009 at 3:53 pm

And she is not pressing charges and suing him for physical and mental abuse why?????

  4. 4 Pearce Nov 9th, 2009 at 4:10 pm

…when does that album that’s going to crash and burn coming out again? Ah. Apparently it’s now coming out December 8. I want to watch the sales numbers go absolutely nowhere and laugh maniacally while petting a cat.

“No, Mr. Brown. I expect you to FLOP!” It’s too bad it’s unlikely he’ll be dropped from his label as far as I can tell.

Here’s hoping that her interview airing gives me even less to watch. Chris Brown…you have learned absolutely nothing.

….oooh, Chris Brown has a tour starting in Houston on the 14th. That’s not too far from here, and I bet I could get a friend to round up some disgusting vegetables…

Oh, this is a tempting situation, guys.

  6. 6 jenn Nov 9th, 2009 at 4:44 pm

Only Chris Brown can make Chris Brown look like such an idiot. Keep talking sh*thead.

  7. 7 Beige Nov 9th, 2009 at 5:06 pm

What goes around comes around, and it usually picks up momentum on the trip. I hope Brown gets the living HELL kicked out of him, in every possible way.

  8. 8 Emma Nov 9th, 2009 at 5:20 pm

Keep it private? Spare me, you whining maggot.

  9. 9 BetC Nov 9th, 2009 at 6:09 pm

I live in the Houston area and also wondered about doing something. But most of the time when you boycott something, it becomes a bigger issue than it was before. He’s only come to the House of Blues, a much smaller venue than others in Houston. I wouldn’t want to buy tickets, even to “boo” him. He doesn’t deserve that. He deserves and empty house.

  10. 10 Pearce Nov 9th, 2009 at 7:27 pm

GAHAHAHAHAHA, he’s back to touring at HOB-sizezd venues? Oh, it just gets better.

What if we got in for free and just stood around being angry and drinking until we feel like talking **** in his general direction?

GAHAHAHAHAHA, he’s back to touring at HOB-sizezd venues? Oh, it just gets better.

They might want to put chicken wire in front of the stage, like in The Blues Brothers.

  12. 12 ShyAsrai Nov 9th, 2009 at 8:40 pm

OMGOSH. Chris Brown are you advocating a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ rule for woman-beaters?

  13. 13 Pearce Nov 9th, 2009 at 8:58 pm

It occurs to me that Chris Brown could charge someone with assault for flinging rotten vegetables at him. I find that fact absolutely hilarious, as he is a moron and would probably actually do that. Whoo! Woman-Beater Has Woman Arrested for Pelting Him With Rotten Celery.

  14. 14 Catharine Nov 10th, 2009 at 12:28 am

Classic abuser talk! “Dont you go tellin’ no one where you got that black eye, ya hear?”

  15. 15 Pearce Nov 10th, 2009 at 1:11 am

Catharine, she obviously walked into a door. Over and over again. And maybe tripped and fell down some stairs.

  16. 16 fallingstar Nov 10th, 2009 at 1:23 am

Hmm… maybe not actually buy tickets to his show… just stand around outside the venue with rotten tomatoes and wail on him at first sight. Or just call the petards and tell them that Chris Brown is wearing fur that night. They’ll do all the dirty work for you.

  17. 17 Catharine Nov 10th, 2009 at 2:14 am

Lol Pearce I knew it! She’s just too stupid to walk straight. Either way, it’s all her fault. And now she’s trying to make people feel sorry for her.
Wow. Thank God I’m not Chris Brown.

  18. 18 katie Nov 10th, 2009 at 4:25 am

yeah he’s only POed because its making him look bad. uh chris, you looked pretty bad before she said anything. while i think its odd shes speaking out 9 months later and right before her album is out, chris is still a douche.

  19. 19 Holly Won't Nov 10th, 2009 at 12:02 pm

Pearce, only works if the door has teeth.

  20. 20 Minnow Nov 10th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

I’m not interested enough to check the video, but can Rihanna form coherent sentences?

Just wondering, since ducks of a feather pose for paparazzi together.

  21. 21 TheRose Nov 10th, 2009 at 1:15 pm

I keep wondering why his publicist is letting this stuff out. I mean, we know how Chris Brown communicates, and those statements were obviously not released by him, or if they were they were certainly edited to be made coherent.

That being the case, why has his publicist not put a ball gag on him yet?

  22. 22 Pearce Nov 10th, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Well, maybe Chris Brown bought himself a door with teeth to look extra badass on MTV’s Cribs. See, she just didn’t give that door the respect it deserved.

  23. 23 Angry Army Wife Nov 10th, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Oh boo frigging hoo. Here is a quarter and call someone who cares. Line up Chris Brown, Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan and have at it with your rotten vegetables. Man up and quit being such whiny babies. Join the Army and then see how tough you are.

  24. 24 BB Nov 10th, 2009 at 8:38 pm

AWWWWW! Poor baby! He is so misunderstood. How dare she speak out about what happened to her?! He is the only one allowed that right! Yeah, you smug, hypocritical piece of s**t. This just proves you are an abuser and a control freak. According to you, she is not ALLOWED to speak badly (even if it is true) of someone so obviously wonderful and upstanding. He did say he was “sawwry” for “what happened” in a blue bow tie, so, I guess it is case closed. Oh yeah, and she MADE him do it because, before this, he was 100% perfect in every way. Only a b**ch could make someone so sweet come unglued, put you in a headlock and punch you in the face multiple times, so she got what she deserved for making him “angwy”. You can go on TV multiple time and blab unconvincingly about how wonderful you are, but she can’t tell anyone. Great rehabilitation buddy. A nice, public way to victimize your victim again.

  25. 25 Pearce Nov 10th, 2009 at 9:45 pm

BB, as I’ve mentioned before, I was teaching college when the whole thing happened, and my female students largely thought Rihanna had it coming and deserved what happened because of her actions surrounding the beating (taking his keys, getting upset about the possible infidelity, etc.). It’s appalling, but people still think that way – WOMEN still think that way.

And that is why I’m afraid his album won’t go down in flames like it should.

  26. 26 Leja Siv Nov 10th, 2009 at 9:56 pm

…Can’t this guy go play in traffic already?

  27. 27 BB Nov 11th, 2009 at 5:05 pm

Pearce – I guess, according to the girls you talked to, when she discovered him cheating, she was supposed to high five him rather than confront him? I really feel sorry for our young girls today that they don’t feel they deserve any better treatment and they deserve anything they get if they choose to “defy” their man. This, along with the (nonreciprocal) blow job becoming the new handshake, and I really am concerned. From what I hear, girls are considered strange if they don’t give in to casual demands for blow jobs. The trend is an attempt at putting women back into a submissive posture but I don’t understand why they are going for it. Maybe it’s the lack of father figures or something. I am at a loss.

  28. 28 geej Nov 30th, 2009 at 8:31 pm

Man I will be glad with the real story comes out. Rihanna is a liar and it’s going to make all these talk show hosts look like fools. She is using this to advance her career. I don’t advocate a man hitting a woman, but I know women who I’d love to see some man slap the S— out of. I had brothers and a lot of male cousins and they always taught us, “You pass a lick, you better be ready to take one.” She was very abusive to him and almost caused an accident that night. There were only TWO people there that night and only one is making their career soar as a result so think people and stop believing everything people say.

  29. 29 Simon Scowl Nov 30th, 2009 at 9:44 pm

    And geej is single, ladies!

  30. 30 Beige Nov 30th, 2009 at 10:00 pm

Geej, that post smacked of all the logic shown by a failed genetic experiment. With cows. Shouldn’t you be out plastering that black-and-blue heart flag on your Hummer or something?
