I can only imagine the pressure she, as a former model, feels to lose weight. After all, fat model=worthless, and that must be a hard mindset to get rid of. That and she looks genuinely miserable, unlike the Jennifer Love Hewitt's of the world who prance around smugly grinning in bikinis and US Weekly covers.
