Lindsay Lohan is taking some time off from shopping on Robertson Boulevard and doing lines at Playhouse to travel around India saving children. In what fashion, I’m not sure, but on her first day in India she claimed on Twitter:
“Over 40 children saved so far…… Within one day’s work…… This is what life is about….. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!”
Now, far be it from me to knock her for doing something worthwhile for once in her drug-addled life. I really had hope that witnessing extreme poverty would be enough to get her priorities straight.
But rather than simply practicing what she preaches and not making a big deal about it, she is using her sudden virtuousness to take public potshots at the media for paying so much sought-after attention to her:

By “saving” them, does she mean wrapping them in foil to eat later, or what? Because “saving” a child isn’t something you wander around doing every couple of minutes, unless there really are that many runaway buses in India or something. Define your terms, there, Lilo.
Or unless by “saving” she means “getting them adopted and out of poverty”.
Maybe she’s channeling Angelina Jolie.

Dave, if she’s got a 40-kid-a-day adoption rate, she’s doing better than a lot of CPS departments. And THEY’RE working clean and sober, usually. So…yay.
Done and done deceiver. I will keep oogling her when I watch Mean Girls however.

Even if the places in which she claims to have “saved or created” tots don’t actually exist.
She must have walked into their camp and told them not to do drugs or drink or else they would look like her, therefore saving their lives. If anyone is anti-anything – it is dear Lindsey.
